First time custom loop finally done!!

Hey everyone, I'd come to you guys about 6 months ago about the possibility of upgrading from a closed loop Kraken X60 and the built in 295x2 closed loop solution. Well, now I'm done and finally have it installed after 2 monster fueled nights with 2 other custom loop noobs and no spills!

The only downside was that the secondary radiator wouldn't fit in 2 different cases I had (a HAF932 or Cosmos SE) so I had to drive 2 hours to Dallas to pick up a Cosmos 2 which has to be one of the heaviest cases ever created. More so when trying to lug it up 2 sets of stairs.

Anyway here was the parts list and a few pics from last night....I'll get more filled pics later.

Nice and clean.
I've got that same monster case. Don't you love how much space it has? thumb.gif

I was contemplating that case when I got rid of my 700D, but the lack of windowed side panel was a deal breaker for me.

Be cautious of that silver kill coil with the nickle plated block. There have been cases where the two have interacted negatively together causing corrosion. Not sure how prominent that problem is with AquaComputer blocks, but I know it's been a problem with EK blocks, even after switching to their new plating process. Just to be safe though, I would think about either switching to a liquid additive like Mayhem's Biocide or PT Nuke. Or switch to a premix such as Mayhem X1 or EK's premix coolant since those both have biocide and corrosion inhibitors in them already.

Only thing I would have done differently is have the tube run from GPU>top rad>CPU>pump/res. Won't make any performance difference, but it would eliminate the long drooping tube from rad to pump/res, probably making it look a little cleaner. Other than that, nice work.
