From that it says it takes 83w/hr to increase the temperature in here 1c. So a computer is going to have a noticeable affect, especially all OC'ed and running a demanding game.

Remember also, we aren't talking about bringing a room from freezing up, its from the ambient which is usually at something you find comfortable. Increasing that be 2c - 3c or more is more then enough to make it start feeling hotter.
Yup. It only takes a few degrees to feel quite a bit warmer.

oh dear god, I didn't think when you said small you were talking about that small haha. What was that room originally designed for? Seems too small for a bedroom, but too big for a closet or bathroom.
It's the spare bedroom.

*When I had that 2nd 780 in my rig, I was sweating with how hot the room was getting.

Just because you can't feel the 90°C jet of burning air doesn't mean the heat vanishes.

Actually, you could argue (and probably be right) that water cooling will heat up your room more. Water is obviously a much more effective medium when it comes to getting heat out of your parts and case and into the atmosphere (your room). That's why temperatures drop so much.

You got to be kidding, I'm not going to buy that someone can actually be so ignorant about laws of physics.

How about equally wrong statement that liquid cooling heats the room less because the temperature of the air that is coming out is lower.

I don't care if its 500w if it performs similarly.

I could care less about heat and silence. I want MOAR POWA. Not some gimmicky features that don't translate to more FPS.

I will use this thing to get rid of the heat before I pay more for lower energy cards with little FPS improvement.

xat.com OCX0

Albeit, striving for goals such as lower power etc... do help progress the technology. I just don't care. I want the power now.

Care to educate me then, rather than calling me stupid? Makes sense that there's X amount of heat. With air more of it stays inside (hotter operating parts), and with water more of it gets dissipated into the atmosphere. I don't claim to be a professor of thermodynamics though, so maybe one such as yourself could enlighten me.
