Thread Starter

You can run two on a workstation/server board.

Double QPI will allow you to run two CPUs on a motherboard that supports dual processors.

If you are looking for an upgrade from that i7 950 you have an x5650 or better would be great. I have been able to get my 5650 to 4 GHz on all 6 cores (twelve threads). The 5650 are right around 75 dollars on ebay (last I checked).
