i am buying a case with psu, it has apparently never been used but the case is damaged, may have been dropped. I was going to but one of those little psu testers and just check things are working properly. however this then means i will have to discharge the psu before i re-sleeve it. Was hoping to do it from new so i wouldn't have too but i cant think of any way round it.
then i got to thinking, surely that £4 psu tester could discharge the psu for me? since its essentially a bank of leds with headers attached?
