Problems with MSI afterburner/Predator

I've been trying to record my games using the "predator" capture system on MSI afterburner. I have the MSI R9 270X, and I have settings on medium(battlefield 4.) But every time I have the program recording for more than a few minutes, it crashes the game. sometimes as soon as I hit the record button, sometimes in the middle of recording. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or know of a fix for it?

I went into the settings to that page and it was set to 32 bit, so I changed it to 64, and it seemed to work fine at first but then it froze after about 3 minutes or so of game play.

Things i would check are:

  1. disable origin in game overlay
  2. make sure you have enough space wherever you are saving the video
  3. try a different codec (it might be a codec conflict especially if you have one of those codec packs installed like k-lite)

Alright, that seemed to work just fine, I turned the overlay off and I record uncompressed. I can always compress them later. Thanks man!

Origin overlay has been known to interfere with injectors. Glad it is working for you.
