G502 hurts my hand, looking for a different mouse.

I've had the g502 for about 3 months and I love it, but over the past couple weeks it has started to give me hand and wrist pain. I think it might be how I hold the mouse, I shift my ring and pinky finger all the way to the right. The mouse I used before the g502 was a normal dell mouse, I like the shape of it and would like a gaming mouse of similar shape. Here are some mice im considering zowie fk1, mionix naos 7000, roccat kone pure military, steel series rival, death adder, or zowi ec 1. I think I use a palm grip ill let you guys decide from the pictures. The mouse must have 800 dpi, as that is what im used too. The only game I really play is dota 2 but I play it a lot. Any input wil be greatly appreciated, thanks.

The weight of the G502 could probably be the cause of your wrist pain. It might be your grip as well, but the heaviness certainly doesn't help. All the mice you listed are good choices. But If you prefer to palm I'd say try the Rival, Naos, or EC1. Your hand seems fairly large so those would probably be your best bets.

I've own just about all the mice you listed, except for the EC 1 and the DA, but I've tried out the DA a few times because a friend of mine has one. Out of all the ones on the list, the most comfortable one for me is probably the FK1, with the KPM coming in a close second. I was really hoping to that I'd liked the Naos 7000 better, but after longer gaming sessions, I would start to feel some discomfort on my wrist. After trying out a lot of mice these past few months, I've concluded that I much prefer basic, ambidextrous-shaped mice.

Looking at the profile of your old Dell mouse, it looks like it was meant more for a fingertip grip, although you say you like to palm. Maybe you should also take a look at the g100 or even the g302.

Your problem is 800 DPI. Th mouse is too heavy for that speed. I use mine at 1600 no problem. Used to uses 1000 before. I too play Dota 2.

hmmm that might be the problem, but I've always played on 800dpi I dont really want to change now. Would a lighter mouse work better at 800dpi?

Yeah for sure.

The final mouse 2015, ninox aurora, and the kmp all seem to be shaped like my old dell. Has anyone tried them with a palm grip? My hands arent very long, but my palms are very wide.

I haven't tried the finalmouse 2015, but do have the Ninox aurora and KPM. I'm a natural palm gripper too, and the KPM is definitely more suited for palming compared to the aurora. If the Aurora was just a bit wider, it'd be near perfect for me.
