7-7-7 1.7V kit, detection issues, MemTest OK, only shows 2GB usable ??

I've got an old Triple Channel kit of OCZ memory, one stick seems to boot fine no matter the settings, if left in Auto it boots fine and is detected, the other two won't boot themselves, but when installed WITH the one stick in the first memory slot, the motherboard will boot with them installed. However....the other two only show in the bios as being installed, and aren't shown as being "available" ??

When I manually change the timings to the 7-7-7-21, and 1.7V as printed on the label on the sticks, I can boot up no problem, I can run MemTest no problem, it detects all sticks, correct size and timings, and I can run through several passes with no issues at all, HOWEVER, when I boot into Windows7, I still get 6GB installed*(2GB useable) ?

Is this memory very incompatible due to its weird timings/voltage requirement ? Is there any advice on how to get Windows7 to be able to see AND USE all 6GB ?

I've tried everything I can think of, I don't want to throw away memory that tests "good" in MemTest, and with OCZ having gone out of business, and no one picking up their memory warranty, that's my only choice with these, either come up with a way to use them, or throw them out...

Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks !

Are you using 64bit windows7?

If you are clocking to high or have unstable clocks
it can cause your ram to automatically run on single channel etc and then you will only be having on 2gb ram

also try disabling ram phase managment (ram apm) when i enable this on my 990fxa gd80 i will normally be only using 14gb out of my 24 gb ram (approximitlly it was a long time ago)

Yes, its 64bit Windows...

I'm not overclocking the ram, in fact, I'm under clocking it slightly....I'll look for any Ram phase management setting...thanks !
