windows 7 randomly freezing

hey all, having a very weird issue with my new build. it seems that after a few hours of use windows will completely slow down and fully lock up. this build is fairly new and im running windows 7 64bit specs are: asrock z87 extreme 4, i7 4790k overclocked to 4.8GHz, 16gb of adata xpg v2 1600mhz, sli gtx 780, 240GB Kingston hyperx as my main ssd where windows is installed, and 3 WD drives for storage. its seems strange but after hours of gaming and use without any issues itll just randomly lock up when im just at the desktop not doing much. could this be due to my overclock on the cpu? I thought maybe the ssd was bad but its only a year old so it should be ok right? any help on figuring out this issue would be great as its very annoying. also the ram is brandnew as of lastnight(I upgraded) but even before the new ram I was having this same issue. any help would be great thanks.
