I don't know hwo makes razer's switches, but I hate their oversized keys, it messes me up all the time... really need a new mech board someday with proper keycap sizes.

Mechanical to me and many others obviously feels so much better to type and game on to the point where I have a mini one for when I stay at my gf's becuase it just feels that much better than a regular keyboard.

Ofcourse all this gamer marketing talk like -1ms improve your game garbage is overrated, but that does not come from us that comes from the marketing teams.

Read his second sentence? Overrated in the fact that so many people state they are clearly better, when they are just different.

I like the LCD panel (yes I find it useful and I like it) and windows key lock (I have to have one on any KB I buy period) on my G510 too much to give any current mechanical KB any serious consideration. I have used them and although they are okay, the lack of features so far has definitely put me off one for now. Also, I don't want a loud keyboard.

These new KBs solve at least part of the problem so maybe in 5 years someone will finally make one that is fully featured.

"Membrane feel" made my fingers go on 3 day sick leave. Never going back to that again.

"Linear feel" ftw.

Seems like a waste, if you prefer the 'feel' of a membrane - why not just buy a membrane keyboard since they are like 5x cheaper. I would be interested in mechanical keyboard that was as quiet as a membrane keyboard.

this is good more innovation in something that had very little progress for years
