Are you OC when the BSOD is happening or when everything is at standard ? I found some Drr3 don't like to overclock well either or there scaling is incorrect to the amount of OC applied and when reverting back to standard the memory modules are not reset correctly. Just a thought there to check on.
CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED sounds like bad memory bad allocations' try different ram if you have.
Just tested my PSU with a different multi meter and it is showing some strange results on this meter. I know one more person with one I can test with. 2/3 one way or the other would sit better with me.
I tested RAM again. I tried my partner's RAM (same type but different set) and it was ok. Both passed MemTest 100%.
SSDs still working ok on all ports when the 980 is not installed.
In the meantime I have been testing my PSU rails. Their stability is a bit off and comparing to stock values they aren't up to scratch, up to 2v off on 2 rails. Maybe I didn't notice the issue with the lower power draw card (970) and this is now enough to tip it over.
