Thanks for the heads up!

You might want to take a look a the Chessboard build, he gave up on the Bitfeix LED's today and bought something else and wired them up himself and they are super bright!

Sorry about the freak out back there people, I don't usually have the best of luck so I kind of assumed the worst, not to say a PSU dying isn't a problem, but it's certainly less of a problem/cost than a PSU. I picked up the EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2 - I never thought I'd use this adjective for such an item but, what a beautiful power supply! Everything is installed and rocking and rolling along brilliantly wheee.gif

Tested the PSU before the install, the rails were A+++ and I've been putting the whole system through it's paces with some stress tests and benchmarks, monitoring voltages along the way - solid as a rock!

Even managed a decent Firestrike run:

Thanks to all that helped, commented and subbed in the meantime thumb.gif

Awesome mate well done all sorted out i am glade to hear. thumb.gif

Love the PSU mount, also that PSU is gorgeous drool.gif

If you are planning on a single color for the LEDS, I would suggest looking into the darkside dimmable strips.

I second that, I have heard good things about Darkside LEDs. Also, what is the very lower 5.25" bay?

I just bought some of the Darkside LED strips, the same ones that @snef uses, I'll let you know how I like them.

Glad to hear you are back up and going! Those EVGA PSUs are bar none excellent, I love my 1300G2 thumb.gif. Nice score with the Strix, hope to see more.

The lowest bay is my Thermaltake Max 5 Duo SATA HDD Rack - it's going to be getting some Gold treatment shortly. Picked up some paint brushes yesterday biggrin.gif

Wow that's impressive! I am looking into bios mods, something new to me so I'll take my time, though it generally seems straight forward enough! My ASIC isn't ideal for air but I think I can squeeze a little more out of it. I was seriously thinking about the MSI, like the look slightly more than the Strix (for this build) but I decided to just stick with what I know I guess. Let the 980 wars begin tongue.gif
