Hey Grim, I wanted to congratulate you on finishing your build. You really did a great job and it came out awesome. I wish you the best of luck on MOTM. thumb.gif

Beautiful job, really like the blend of black and gold, and the cables match perfectly.
The custom gold painting and component selection gives it a character all of it's own.thumb.gif

Nice build bro, best execution of a black and gold colour scheme i've seen. wondering if I could bother you for the distance between the edge of the motherboard tray and the front fans? Im thinking about doing my next build in the S8, and the SSI-EEB tray just looks cleaner. Good luck in MOTM!
Love the cable management and the little details that went into this build. I think it really shows how flexible the S8 case really is in that it can do water and air cooling better than anything on the block. I hope my cable management and sleeving looks half as good as this does. It really shines. Great job.

And this is the kind of work I'd expect to see in an Air Cooled build. Since you don't have flashy blocks/tubing/fittings to attract the eye, you have to go out of your way and really put thought into placement, colors, and tiny details that make it stand out, which, you've done perfectly!

May I just add one tiny suggestion: adjust the saturation just a tiny bit on the first few pics of your finished photos. They feel a little mottled and I think it's just saturation.

Other than that, I think they look fantastic and I'll be featuring your build on our social channels later today. Again, congrats on all of your hard work! It's paid off!

Thank you wheee.gif From the edge of the tray to the back of the fans it's 10.2 cm / 4 inches.

The S8 is an amazing case and I bought it for that exact reason. I like my overclocking so if I ever decide to go water I have everything I need to make that happen. It takes time to manage the cabling well but it is so worth it for minimal flow obstruction and neatness verging on the obsessive side lol biggrin.gif

Thanks Jason and thank you for posting the build! I'll check the saturation later today, my fiance knows that stuff a little better than me smile.gif
