Add me on Steam. Never seen that error before. Also I assume you mean v2.06

v2.07 released. Download the installer here or use of the 'Check for update' button to automatically update if you already have sourceGL installed:

Download sourceGL v2.07 installer

RInput.dll was updated to v1.44. Timeout detection for games was increased to work better with computers that are slower to launch games. All exe's were recompiled with the latest versions of the compiler and install creator.

I'm still having difficulty implementing the features for the bigger future update across different Windows versions, CPUs, and GPUs. I am getting closer to solving some of the issues though.

Thank for your work VolsAndJezuz! You are best one)))

Wanted to say some information which I found last days about mouse delay in game.

I have bought Logitech G303 2 week ago, main problem of this mouses that lens rattle after some days and this can be the reason of not precise sensitivity in game.

So I have changed first mouse in the shop and second has the same problem. Then I decided to buy Zowie ZA13 and what I have found:

Zowie had delay in game after which I can not play so good as with G303 while it works fine and when I tested my old Deathadder it was the same situation.

I m started to study this question why G303 so responsive and found that pixart 3366 doesn't have delay and other I don't know how much in Deathadder but Zowie with Pixart 3310 has 5ms. So then I back Zowie in the shop - I was surprised about it ))) and fix the rattle of G303 by my self.(There is the video on youtube how to do it)

What can I say you guys that sens of G303 so feels perfectly that for me there is no other mouses while others not starting to do mouses with Pixart 3366. Mouse so responsive so you can play very comfort with m_rawinput 1 but rinput little bit better.

This is not advirtisment of G303, just experience show me that )))

As I see VolsAndJezuz you have bought new G900 with the same sensor before I saw Minox Naos in your devices. G900 wireless but I think you should see more responsivness of PWM3366. I feel CS GO now faster like cs1.6 , before game was slowly for me on others mices.

Sorry for offtop )

does alt-tabbing break this?
i started tf2 through sourceGL, but after i alt-tabbed and went back into the game, i couldn't aim anymore (m_rawinput 0).
so i change m_rawinput to 1, and i could aim again.

i alt-tabbed while i was joining a server. i guess this caused some kind of issue

Yes, alt-tabbing while joining a server can cause that issue. I'm not sure how to fix it because it is tricky. Ofc best practice is to not alt-tab when joining/changing servers, but I will continue to look into ways to fix this.

I just got banned and unbanned because VAC detected RInput Injector as some sort of hack

I turned on my computer yesterday morning. As soon as I loaded Steam, I got a notice that I have been VAC banned in CS:GO. It was as bewildering as it was outrageous as I've never resorted to cheating/hacking in CS:GO. I knew it was pointless but still sent an email to their VacReview email-ID, explaining why this ban was totally incorrect and baseless and also told them the programs that I use with CS:GO (SourceGL + RInput). I suspected that It was RInput that VAC was detecting as some sort of cheat program so I thought I would test this theory out.

I created two new accounts and bought CS:GO through those accounts. Played CS:GO for 30 mins in the first account with the same configuration that I play CS:GO with, except using RInput. Worked flawlessly. Then I played the game with RInput and as soon as I quit the game, I got VAC banned.

Played CS:GO from the second account without ever using RInput. Didn't get any VAC ban.

So that tells me VAC for some reason decided that RInput is a cheating program and it issued VAC bans on my two accounts as soon as I used RInput.

This morning, I logged into my original Steam account and received a notification from Steam that my VAC ban has been removed. I checked the other account and VAC ban was also removed from that account.

I can't understand why would VAC detect this RInput as cheat all of a sudden. At this point, I am really not sure whether it is safe to use RInput again. I guess I'll wait a while before using it. I want to be certain that I won't be banned again for using RInput. Is there any Steam rep on this forum whom I can chat with regarding this?

EDIT: It seems TImerResolution was the reason behind the false positive, NOT Rinput.

Do you use TimerResolution?
Quote:
False VAC bans for TimerResolution reversedNews (self.GlobalOffensive)
submitted 7 hours ago by Valve_Anti-CheatValve Anti-Cheat Team
Due to an error with one of our cheat detections, there were about 100 VAC bans falsely applied to users running TimerResolution. At this time, we’ve fixed the detection and removed all of the false positives that were flagged in error. If you were affected, you should receive a Steam Alert next time you login stating that your ban has been removed. Our apologies to those of you who were incorrectly accused of cheating.

We’ve reviewed all other bans issued during this period and concluded they were correctly applied—they will not be removed.
