This is a 49" TV for comparison. Pictures just dont do it justice. Once it is fully loaded and has water in it, I probably will have to have help setting it on the desk. Freakin' huge.

You forgot the banana for scale.

Its not quite like having a custom artisan at our disposal, but also nowhere near as expensive.

So guess I can only look at the moment:

That sucks I hope they get it to you quickly as you seem to have alot of assumptions based on not having the chassis yet, I would really like to see you get your hands on it so maybe some of it can be hashed out.

Im Glad you like it, and thank you for the feedback on the front.... we will definitely keep feedback like this in mind for future designs... also make sure to update with what you do to it so we can compare the most common mods or usages to help guide future designs.

Given how deep this case is, so dont I understand why that decition was made, as it limits the numbers of cages you can get behind the PSU.

Right now so does it looks like you can only support 1 cage + under motherboard tray. Meaning 2 ssd + 1 hd + 3 hd / 6 ssd.

Yet another thing about this cage, that is more limiting then I though.

Please explain or when you get yours show with images where you see an issue and maybe I can better help with this.

I always assumed that the harddrive cages allowed you to mount the drives straigth in, so they took up less depth and more width of the cage.
Or in other words, opposite way of the cd bays.

The case should be wide enough to allow this and it will mean that you could mount 2 harddrive cages behind the PSU, while still leaving room for res infront.

You can tell on this image, that just 1 harddrive cage will fit behind the PSU.

I went ahead and got started with some of the things that I can do while parts are still on their way and hit my first snafu. Honestly, I put this on NZXT instead of TT

This little tab had to be snipped off for the PSU to sit flush against the back. NZXT has the plastic around the plug sticking out about 2mm past the metal of the PSU.

Not a huge deal, but first component=first cut...hope this is not setting the pace for the rest of the build.

I think its designed for the fan to be down, so that might be the reason.

^ This really. It'll keep the heat from PSU isolated if you flip it, would imagine it might get a bit dustier in the X9 than other current cases too.

There are plenty of dust filters on it, so that should not be a problem.

are you planning to run dual PSU?

the side with the drive cages is the secondary PSU location.

Wow yea thats a unique plug design. I honestly hadnt used that supply which is surprising as Ive used most but I guess I missed that one.

That is even worse, unless you can mount them on both sides.

I'm running 1 radiator in the bottom, so the other side is PSU + harddrive cage + pump-res combo.
