If you throw 2 rads in the bottom, it looks like that lower grommet in the main area is removable. I'd venture to say that's an option for PSU mounting.

Yep, theres 2 positions for psu:

I would have it normally in the top sections while in the bottom section u can have 2x 60mm rads even in push pull as the width of the case is 250mm and it will stil lleave u with 30mm of space between the rads.

However I still like WP100 more, but the price is almost 3x higher..

Similar to where you'd put it on a Corsair 900D.

I am very happy with this case and system built on, and in it. Thermaltake should offer real raid enclosues for folks who want high end raid.
Eventually I add another 64gb of ram, other changes as budget allows.

TLDR;

I have the X9, what are people doing for dust fitlers, the case has pretty good dust filtration but where I live is SUPER dusty :'( so i'm trying to make it super filtered. The biggest thing I'm stuck on is a dust filter that fits the top rear. I love demci flex magnetic and that's what im getting for the rear above psu:

rear fan on the side the psu isn't on

just that one above mobo on the rear :/

It's like 180*140 and all the filters I have come across bigger than that are way too big to fit

I've given up on filtering the bottom properly and just opted to make the bottom mounted fans exhaust.

I'm sick, sorry if post makes no sense, poorly formatted etc.

I just purchased some of the filter material from Performance PC and cut it to the sizes I needed. Used adhesive to attach magnetic tape to the material and then placed the filters in the spots I wanted them to be.

Been rather short, (more like non-existent, actually) on factory representation/support here for a long while now, so I'm sure everyone hopes you'll be an active participant and frequent visitor.

We've got some pretty sweet builds going on here representing a wide range of aesthetic visions and modding skills.

Looks like the X5 is going to be a popular build as soon as it hits the market, as the guys are already talking about it and liking how its shorter length lets it fit on a desktop, where the X9 was just too long.

Please stop by as often as you can, . . . and keep us up to date on the new stuff coming out . . . . maybe some First Availability promos for OCN members specool.gif

When the reps show interest in our builds, it helps create and build enthusiasm for our efforts, and by extension, the Tt line of products

Darlene.

Thank you so much! Yes I know and I am sorry for that.

Core X5 should be here soon and will get them out ASAP.

Say hello to my little friend...... X9 kind of a big friend but the start of a full tare down in 2 days involving cutting the X9 in half will make it little..... but not for long, top half of the case will get a full rethink and make the bottom half (what remains) almost unrecognizable. I've seen nothing even close to the look I'm going for so should be a new look top to bottom.

I do understand a smaller case though like the new one coming out that will fit on a desk easier but in my "case".... I'd get a second desk. Just kidding, what I did was I had a catering trolley from my old coffee shop lying around and it fit perfect, plus its on wheels and can be moved at any time as needed. Plus when I'm building I can spin it or move it to where other supplies or heat guns are set up. I strongly recommend it, X9 is big but can also be agile. You may notice the trolley handles in my pic. I even have a hole drilled into the middle of the top floor board of the trolley in case of a leak the water will drip into a big bowl below the hole on the second level. Have not seen a leak yet but I'm ready for the whole shebang to come spilling out smile.gif

Yes, good to see you post @ThermalMike smile.gif we are always excited to get any info we can from the good folks at Thermaltake. Cant wait to go down to my local computer store and take a hands on look at the new case when it arrives.
