They where there last week, so guess they will make more some time, but they are not too quick at the monent the support guys from TT, as they have some show this week.

Perspective is when ur standing in front of front of case. Look at handles and it should be simple to figure out.

I find the motherboard tray to be very stiff and strong. Don't think it would have trouble holding anything you throw at it. band.gif

Thank you! I must move my 7x 980ti into something much better than 900D. Pity CL is not in EU.

I read some reviews of X9 and I am very worried on its quality. And its weight is crazy high. Where did these 17 kgs go? It's 3x heavier than CL S8. If I put 3x 480 and 7 gpus there this will be a nightmare to ship.

It's bigger than the S8 and made of steel, which is heavier than the aluminum that CL uses for their cases. Heres a comparison photo of my X9 and S8 next to each other.

As far as quality goes, the X9 is pretty good. The front panel is plastic so the color match isn't perfect, but its pretty close. From what I've seen, Tt doesn't really keep any of the side panels in stock so good luck trying to get a replacement if you need one.

It will not fit if you use the X5 case with Clc cooling or Tower air cooling. I assembled the mobo to the tray, with some posts, as a template, then used center punch / scribe to dimple tray.
Used very small drill for accuracy on 1st drill bit, then worked up to size for 6/32 screw. Tapped hole with 6/32 tap. Cleaned ovevcut / chips with 1/4" drill. Mount Standoffs , put 6/32 nut back
side of drilled standoffs. Used drop Superglue on each nut to lock in place.

Has anyone tried bruteforcing some 560mm rads in X9 cases ? (H x W x D) 502 x 380 x 640 mm looking at the measurements it should not be impossible, but I dont have the case or the 560 rads in hand to actually test if there would be a way to make double 560s fit on top.
And buying the case and the rads just to find out it`s a no go doesnt make much sense, currently using a define r5 that could take double 360s and just upgrading the case and rads just for going to 420s or 480s doesnt sound that exciting but 560 is another story that sounds much better.
I used the thread search tool for "560" and I quess it`s a no go.

well it's not intirely impossible i guess it's 59,7 cm. in lenght, but you would have to make some new radiator mounts for it to work i guess.
Did you measure it, 59.7cm usable space for both rads ? smile.gif
