Thermaltake Core X Case Owners Club: X1, X2, X9, X9 Snow Ed. - Page 38

Hey guys.
I'm looking to pick up one of these cases next week and was just wondering about fan placement.

I've already planned to stick 2 red pure 20's (200mm) in the front, my H110 top mounted on the opposite side to the GTX980 G1, and 1 or 2x140mm fans above the GPU to vent the hot air directly.
But I'm not sure if I should just pull the included rear exhaust as all of the hot air will be going out the top of the case?

I plan to keep everything low speed, there will be heaps of airflow with the 2x200mm fans.

Still undecided where to mount the 1x SDD and 2x 3.5" drives.

What do you guys think?

The rest of us havent got it available yet.
I don't live in USA nor Canada but, i use parcel forwarding.
Any way I still don't understand the reason for the bracket.
My question was
Can i mount fans on the side of the case while having the drive cages in the same side? or there is not enough space?

356mm or 14"

The whole of the width is:

381mm or 15"

You will have to let them rest on the case a little.

Shrouds are 181.6mm.... thinking.gif. I may have to modify the mounting system a bit but the overall width is plenty.

Thanks again!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Yeah, they will fit on the overall width, just not on the actual removable panel.

Mod that sucker! Sounds like it will be a good fit actually.
