Please pardon this second sheet for now, having just taken over the thread, I am trying to figure out a way to deal with the spread sheet and going through all 25 pages and make sure no one was missed.

Im coming from a Lian Li v1020r so im spoiled as far as quality is concerned. As i put everything together it all fit well but some of the pre tapped holes needed the threads cleaned up and de-bured but everything was well thought out. For my build i chose to remove both drive cages as well as removed the optical bays!..Finally a manufacturer considered this!.. my one concern is that the top cover is sagging a little bit.. it is not intruding with the radiator or anything...but is drooping...and i might add..."it is a perforated piece of steel"... and its 14 inches wide and 23 1/2 inches long!!!... its a little heavy. That being said... the weight...almost 44 pounds... makes it a beefy unit indeed. Everything on it is well constructed...the sheet metal sides and top are a little thin..they have to be...it weighs 44 pounds!.. if you want Caselabs go buy Caselabs.. this is not a replacement for solid aluminum construction. But...your not paying $500 for it either. I considered a Caselabs but in the end...upon seeing this was up and coming.. i pre-ordered so i could be first on the block with one... so i wouldn't have a bunch of reviewers sway me with whatever new gizmo shinny and special bla bla bla... So.. in short i would recommend this to a friend. For $169... you cant do better....for $500...of course you can. But... in the realm of $500 cases...i wouldn't promote anything to a friend...unless your okay with friends being mad at you for spending their money on such audacious equipment as Caselabs or Mountain Mods. The one true thing is this... If you should be running short of space..you can go up or down or both and still be just over $500...For 22500 cu. inches of space... find that anywhere else at even the same level of build quality for twice the price and i will be impressed. Hope its not to much of a ramble.. and feel free to ask anything you want to know.. I will even get pics of what ever you could want.

Anyway, I have few questions.
  1. Could you estimate the shipping weight?
  2. What are the shipping box's dimensions? (I want to calculate shipping cost as i am going to ship it internationally)

  3. Do you get one or two of this piece (the piece that the power supply sits on) and if you got two does that mean that you can install 2 PSUs at the same time or did they forget something?

  4. Can the hard drive cages be installed on the other side as well? (The side where the PSU is originally located)
  5. I am trying to find out if i can install two PSUs and use both of the two HDD drive cages in the same time.

The box is 29" high..18" wide and 22" thick...shipping weight was 44 pounds. It only came with one PSU stand and you can use both sides for a PSU...I wanted to get a second windowed panel and I have not yet tried to get through. You could install two power supplies and i think you could simply add rubber feet to a second psu and it would work fine...its only about a 5mm step. The hard drive cages can be mounted just about anywhere...there are pre-drilled holes everywhere in the case...you could probably suspend them from the radiator grills on top if you wanted.
Hope this helps.

The X9 looks interesting at might just be the ticket for a friend of mine since he's on a pretty tight budget. Although there is a superficial resemblance to CaseLabs, having owned one, I can tell you that CL is on a completely different level. People who want that level of quality will pay for it and not cheap out on something like this. I think the real "victim" here might be the 900D. The X9 is more modular, has a removable MB tray, and more radiator capacity at half the price. Look out Corsair

I think that if you mod the motherboard plate a little, so can you fit an ATX on it. The case is at least big enough.

I wasn't going to spend anything, but this is a great deal. I've also been eye balling Caselabs and the like for years, but never really wanted to spend that kind of money. I've been rocking a $50 case for 3+ years and it still looks brand new. Lol.
