Do that have a replacement side panel that isn't clear? Like one that matches the other side with the mesh holes.

Not a big fan of having a clear side on my PC case.

If they did, Would be temped in getting this case.
They do, but right now so does it depend on where you live, as you can only get it in US/Canada atm. Same goes for extra parts.

Thanks , I'm gonna use 60mm rads all round ,so sounds doable. Outside msy right now picking up first case. Started painting rad...would rather not have to mod case...Going to have first crack at hard tubing..

You plan on push or pull or push/pull?

Depending on what reservoir and pump you pick, so might you need to drill some holes to fasten them down.
Also, if you use a 360mm or bigger rad in the bottom, expect do to some work to get in more hard drives then the odd tray can fit.

I think you will have a hard time fitting a push-pull system with 60mm rads, but it depend on how the rest of the hardware lines up.
Only place that got enough space to do it, is the floor mounted one, but that will run into a problem with exhaust of the fans (as it will be very close to the motherboard tray). Inside the case that is.

probably go with pull.. on both rigs.. see how I go for space, temps , flow etc
1) mobo block,cpu 3x 570's -480x60 rad on floor or bottom side and 360 x 60 in front..1 x d5,,,soft tubing .. rampage 3 extreme
2) mobo block , cpu, d5 ..one loop 360x60 in front .. white rad, white coolant , 2nd loop 4x 670's 2x 360 x60 in roof d5 , red rads , red coolant....hard tubing.. ga z97 gaming g1 blk wifi

well that's the plan so far... I never throw/sell stuff so I have got a few rigs.. new gtx 970 is going into x79 rig replacing 2 670's.. taking out the 480 rad leaving a monster 360 to cool cpu and gpu(phanteks enthoo primo).... gonna have some fun over nect few days/weeks

ok just had a good gander at my first x9... love this case

first thing, and it's probably been beaten to death BUT should come standard with 4 drive cage/rad mounts on the floor.. they should not have to be optional extras.. I mean for the extra few dollars on the rrp it would allow full use of the many options the case provides..
for me it won't be a big issue because I'm getting 2 cases and the top one in the stack won't have any rads in the bottom or side positions, so i'll have spares, but only 2 mounts means you are limited as far as a 480 rad in the bottom half of the case..
if you stick to 360 rads then everything is cool, because you can get away with one bracket and use the other for drive cage or another rad.. also wouldn't be too hard to mod the roof rad mounts to fit in the bottom/side.. well done Thermaltake!!!

revision 1.1 -standard 4 bottom cage/rad mounts... especially as availability outside U.S. is an issue... optional extra I see people wanting -- windowed top and sides and extra mounts..

glad I waited to have case in hand before ordering my gear... smile.gif

You are going with 2 cases, but are not stuffing 1 with radiators?
What the hell do you plan on filling them with then?

And yeah, those brakets are an issue atm.
Even with 2 cases, so will I need to mod the hard drive cages, as the 4 included brakets will be used on radiators.

Top case will have 3 x 360 by 60mm rads.. 2 in the roof, using roof mounts and 1 in the front... Will then only use 1 of the 2 drive cage/ rad mounts, for hard drives..Bottom case will now have 3 floor/side mounts., 1 480 on the floor and a monsta 240 in the front.. using last cage mount for hard drives.. This would leave 2 spare roof mounts. See my earlier post for hardware list... Without modding, maximum rad space with supplied parts in a single case would be 3 x 480... 2 in the roof, 1 on the floor.. All monsta's , but then you couldn't use drive cage...
Pretty good vaue for money

Are you going to have rads in 1 case and other hardware in another?... Wouldn't be that hard to mod a bracket for drive cages.. Easiest and cleanest would be a sheet of clear acrylic.. Screw cages to that then line up and screw with holes in the floor..bracket mod for the roof rad mounts to use on the floor/ sides wouldn't be too hard either.. Some Shaped ally strips maybe

I dont think you need the brakets for mounting a radiator in front, since it can be just screwed right on.

In terms of space, so can you fit 2x 480mm in top + a 480mm in bottom + a 120/140mm in bottom + a 240mm in front + 2x 120/140mm in the back, depending on how you mount the fans and what hardware you got. So you can more or less stuff it with radiators, if you plan it out and dont mind having a very stuffed case.

That is a cleaner solution then just mounting the cages to the floor, so I might try and see if I can make it.
