There's no handles on this case and it's gonna be mighty heavy choc full of hardware so first thing I'm doing is getting some castors and making a frame..

Please let us know if you find a good solution, as I think most of us want it as well.

So guys, I'm going to be going from my HAF XB to this case. Anyone here whos owned the XB, how much larger are we talking? The XB is big, and I know it's bigger, but is it really that much larger? Also, how about the feel of it? The HAF XB feels like it was made and designed well, it's sturdy, etc. Is this the same way? The airflow isn't as important to me, as this will be a custom loop. The main reason I'm changing chases is do to room; the HAF XB is pretty damn small to put a custom loop in.

HAF XB: 442 x 330 x 423mm / 17.4 x 13 x 16.7inch (W x H x D)
X9: 502 x 380 x 640 mm / 19.8 x 15 x 25.2 inch (H x W x D)
I would say there is quite a big difference in size.

Its larger then the xb and will have vastly better wc potential. The quality is about the same if not a tiny bit better on the xb. Its by no means a really cheap built case. But its no $300 case quality either. I did own an XB (and a 932 & 690 ii in the past)

X9: 19.8x15x25.2 (h w p)

XB: 13x17.4x16.7

Here a picture of my Thermaltake Core X9 Exterior

Here's a view from the left side (psu to rear, ssd holder in the middle and XSPC Twin D5 Bay /Res)

Here's a view from the right side

Close up of the rear of the bay res. You see 2 D5-655 varios in series and the tubing between the res and the EK 480 PE rad.

Close up of the cpu block - EK Supremacy EVO

Good shot looking up at the 2 XSPC RX480 v3 rads with AP15 GT fans. Have a total of 12 Gentle Typhoon AP15-gts on the 3 rads

I'm definitely getting this, it's on my list when I upgrade the system I have right now. It will be my move from air cooling/aio cooling to a full on custom loop. Seems like a great case to liquid cool in. Much, much more room then my HAF XB. I was trying to figure out how to do it in my haf, I could do it. It would just be so difficult to do, just such a tight fit.

Does anyone know if they sell the vented panel? I don't see it listed on their site frown.gif

I had an XB and tbh, its more of a air case/cube or an aio setup. Its hard to squeeze in a full custom wc setup because you have little to no room for some rads. With some small cards (such as the short nvidia cards) and thin rads, you can have a full setup. Or go external like I did. it seems like it could have been a bit more. You'll love the awesome space and mounting options the X9 will give you thumb.gif

This guy in the town over offered up pretty good trade, or what I think to be good anyway. See, I tried to get into DJing a bit ago, but it turned out it wasn't my thing. I made my own kit without even trying things out. Turned out I didn't like it at all and I have about 1k to 1.5k worth of dj stuff just hanging around not doing anything with. So, he has a case (antec air 540 black). It has a complete custom loop in it, though it was just for a cpu, but it's still a setup. It's not a full computer, just a setup for a computer. That, along with a nice gaming mouse. I'm taking a huge hit in the value for it, but eh. Is this case worth it? How would it compare? I've never seen it in person, only videos. Can you turn it on it's side so the motherboard is vertical? Is it bigger? I just don't really know.
