Thermaltake Core X Case Owners Club: X1, X2, X9, X9 Snow Ed. - Page 55

If you need to fit large radiators or have a heavy gpu setup (ie quad or triple), then it is . The Corsair 540 is a solid great case. I would side Corsair has a bit more better quality then this TT.

Its a shame to build a custom water cooling loop and then hide it from view with cables.
At least thats what I feel.

I've read every single post in this thread...at least once.

I can't expect this case to arrive here any sooner than mid-April, if I'm lucky.
You truly have no idea how much I hate you right now.

Oh, and nice build wermad, I caught up with your build log. I like how you..ahem...did indeed go for small and efficient and no overkill. rolleyes.gif

I'm with you. Have to figure out a way to hide them. Stuffing 3 480 rads in a single X9 makes that a challenge. I open to ALL advice!thumb.gif

BTW, I installer casters I bought from Apollo Caster company. They actually make casters to fit the 1" x 1" mounting area.

I found a work around that makes it viable to use right angle sata cables with the motherboard tray hard mount you just have to toss a couple spare standoffs onto your drive and bam it drops the hard drive just enough to make it a bit more usable. It doesn't work with the ssd mounting points sadly and I am attempting top figure out where I am going to mount mine. Now if my replacement gpu/waterblock could just get here (freakin post taking forever) I could get my system up and running and cable managed. *starts banging head against the desk repeatedly*

Its not that hard, if you use a lot of strips and got long enough cables.
A trick is to try and run cables along walls. If you got a lot of cables in top, fasten them between the 2 rads, as that hiddes it.
Mine is fairly clean, as you can see.

Curious are you running those rads with push or pull? Can't tell from the pics.

Thank you Thermaltake for using slotted fan mounts! now I have an improvised ssd mount right there next to my rear exhaust fan. I will have some preliminary pics of my rig tomorrow asuming that my replacement gpu comes in tomorrow like ebay thinks it will.
