@CGull: Thank you smile.gif

@Str8klownin: they're all hooked up to an Nzxt Mix2 controller. Eight fans per channel. Normal use, I set the controller to minimum 40% (~4.8v) and I spin them faster (~7-8v) when I'm gaming.

edit: owner's list updated.

Where are the X1 and X2 owners?!?!?!?!?!?!??!? smile.gif

Double edit: congrats on those that made it to TT's FB page thumbsupsmiley.png

I put you on the X9 listed, my bad. Shots don't really show the case in whole (and I should have read your post). Sorry, been on auto pilot since my last upgrade redface.gif

google sheet should update in a bit smile.gif

So. with all of the radiators I've been collecting lately, I've seriously been thinking about just getting two of these and sticking them together. I mean, I have a 1080, 1x 360, and 2x 240 radiators. With the current way, I'm just going to end up getting a stand for the 1080 and make it external. Though, I've always been a fan of huge cases, I don't take my desktop with me much. I know the Core X9 is modular, as in you can stack more then one on top of each other. I'm seriously thinking about doing this. Though if I do this, I would be changing it a little. I was thinking about a brushed aluminum for the front face panel, instead of it being mesh like. And ether having one side windowed, and the other side brushed aluminum, or both sides windowed; I'm not really sure yet. I like the aluminum way more then the mesh, and it's not that bad cost wise. Also, by putting the piece on the front I would be able to make it look as if it was "one unit" rather then two units just stacked. What do you guys think? I could put my Reservoir, pump, 4 Radiators in the one top top, and use the bottom unit as the actual computer. I don't know of many cases that will fit a 1080, I'm not even sure this one will fit one, this is more a guess then anything. I would have to do some measuring prior to this, though it sounds pretty cool biggrin.gif. Maybe mount the 1080 to the top, if it would fit, though it fits on top of my HAF XB. So I don't see why it wouldn't.

I've been doing some calculations for my build in a few months and I believe that there's a good chance that a 1080 radiator will fit in the top of the case. You can move one of the radiator brackets into the center of the case and may have to use longer screws to drop the radiator down a cm or so to clear the side case supports but it should be possible. The windowed side panels take up more space inside of the case and may preclude the 1080 but if you get one give it a go. You may also be able to fit all four of those radiators in one x9 case if you wanted it to be more compact.

Can anyone verify if it will fit? I don't have the case yet, so if anyone can verfy this that would be awesome.

Which 1080 rad do you have?
post #709 of 3883
The Phobya one.

Alright, I'll get some measurements for you when I get home smile.gif
