Talking about the Woman who turns into a big monster? We started by running back to the Tomb of Oden. There are some people fighting in there.... You cant fast travel to that lamp (Where the guy turns into a wolf monster)

TCO

I am assuming you would have to beat something in Old Yharnam after that but my brother disagrees...

I've got a problem. I don't know if this is a PS4 issue or Bloodborne specific. My game runs fine in every area, until I enter the fog gate for the Shadow of Yarnham boss fight. Then my framerate drops to under 5 fps. I can't even move. Save isn't corrupt, everything is fine accept this one area. What could be causing this?

EDIT: Fixed this issue by turning Camera Auto-Adjust back on.

This is my first from software game, I have never experienced a game like this. I have put in several hours and finally opened up the shortcut before the first boss. I can't explain why I'm not frustrated, maybe it's getting farther and farther on each try that keeps me going. I have the sewer armor and the store bought armor but I'm not sure which is better yet. I have also rushed the first boss so that I can level and have been able to fortify my axe. I think the first boss shall fall at my feet tonight, probably after I fall at its feet several times.

From Software games are amazing. They are actually more about learning and brain progressing, memorizing patterns, knowing everything that can happen instead of standard character progressing. Every single death is an experience that will help you in the game after you respawn, because you are a better player now.

Also the beginning of this game is quite brutal imho. Much harder than Demon's Souls, Dark Souls or Dark Souls 2, but after the first 2 bosses you start to progress and get to take to like Bloodborne a lot and understand the game for what it is and what you need to do. Moreover you have enough blood echoes and materials to level up and upgrade your stuff.

Dem sewer rats are back with a vengeance. I was at the entrance of the long tunnel (down in the sewers) to see a silhouette of a huge creature at the end of it. I promptly ran the other direction.

I have leveled a few times maybe to lvl 14 or 15. I'm putting points into str and skill. Should I be dispersing points more evenly to the other attributes? I figure my char would be more str based.

No worries. There should be a way to respent your points (atleast DkS2 had a way to do it, so I think Bloodborne will too). Vitality and Endurance are always wise to spent, but there is no wrong or right way. Your way of playing is more important the a few points that maybe account for 5 damage or 20 hp smile.gif

I'm at the same level range, and all my points so far have been put to vitality. I figure, the more health, the more chances for survival. I double-hand the axe for a stronger weapon. I think i'm ready to play with the Big Bad Wolf.

So i just want to pop in here, I dont get the aim of the souls games, I mean i like the mechanics... but it seems a bit plain is there anything to do, Im not after guidance as thats not needed, it just seems like you go and find things until you get to the end, nothing special really happens....

This is no rant, Im just trying to understand the appearance of the game, i dont class it as a hard game its just full of trappery here and there.
