ok i had a post before about building a WoW rig but over the past couple weeks ive debated it far to much and my past budget was only 550. I have now upped it to $1000 max.

I am looking to build a new RIG. I have $1000 max. and I DO NOT need an Operating System or Monitor I will be using my curent IPS panel which is 1920x1080

I need

Case, Mobo, CPU, Ram, PSU, GPU, Disc Drive, CPU Cooler, SSD

I do NOT want a mechanical HDD. 256GB SSD will be MORE then enough for me.

2 rules

1. keep it at NEWEGG

2. Case does not need to be fancy. Id rather spend more on parts then a ton on a flashy case

  1. You should really consider a mechanical drive.... You could still get a 256GB SSD, you really should move your program caching and system paging to a hard drive so it wont ruin the lifespan your SSD.
  2. You should consider spending at other places than Newegg, you can save yourself some money and get more bang for your buck.
Here are a couple of builds, both are under $1k

You can get the same optical drive from newegg for only $0.01 more. I would get that.
This leaves you with enough budget to grab a 500GB HDD from Amazon

If you are okay with a MIRs, you can grab a Lightning for the same price as the Windforce after the MIR on Newegg.

BTW, I wouldn't settle for anything less than a 290x for your budget.

i understand but my issue is i just want to order and have it here next day with out waiting and ordering from multiple places. newegg has always had my stuff to my house pretty much in 1 day since they almost ship all out from new jersey which im only 4 hours from.

Would it be idiotic to go with a 290 or should I opt for a 280x. Remember alot of game time will be spent on WoW so should I be looking at nvidia

WoW isn't going to last forever, but a 290x Lightning will be able to play anything for a long time.
