Hi! Ok good news first! The handle modification is successful!

Bad news: Reversed the fans.
Upper fan intake
Back fan exhaust
Cpu fan push through the radiator
PSU remains exhaust

Idle temps around 48-60. Stress temps via Asus software benchmarking raised to 100... even after disabling MCE through bios which kept all cores to 4.7Ghz (really hard to find a guide on asus bios settings, I just want to keep the cpu at stock speeds). Thinking of removing pure rock slim and re-apply a paste like arctic mx4 and see what happens.
Suggestions, pleaseeee?!!!!
Well, I have two intake fans instead of one, plus my cpu has lower heat output, so that might be why you have higher temps.

You might wanne try pulling in air from the backfan as well, then putting the fan on the other side of your cpu sink so it blows to your psu.
As well as keep your top fan as intake.
Then you have two intakes and air goes out through psu with positive pressure and both cpu and gpu get fresh air.

You may need to manually lower your voltage settings too. I have seen that the Asus Z370 boards seem to run pretty high voltages even at stock settings, 1.33v - 1.42v. People have manually set voltages to 1.20v and seen better temps.

I would try applying the new TIM, can't hurt and you can check to make sure the heatsink is properly seated. This might also just be the poor TIM Intel is using now. Many people with 7700k were only able to achieve decent temps after a delid.

Hi,
I couldn't find answer, so maybe someone will help me.
I would like to switch to Metis Case, but i'm not shure if front usb ports will fit with gtx 1070 founders edition (267mm). I saw one build with this card with usb ports removed, but in the other build i saw evga gtx 1070 ssc (which is the same size), and f-usb ports were saved. How it is possible?

You might want to message @orvils looks like he managed to fit an EVGA GTX 1080 and retain the usb ports. I know when I first got my case I tried test fitting my GTX 980, same size as the 1070, and the only way I could get it to fit was by removing the usb ports. So idk.

Ports can be used, using zip straps they can be bend upwards and held in place. Look at my build:

Problem solved? Reapplied the new TIM, checked that the heatsink is properly seated, installed the cpu fan (pull this time) on the right side. Idle temps low 40's, stress temps maxed at 74. Still thinking that idle temps are high and I want to manually set the voltages but I don't know how and I cannot find a guide, but I will certainly do it. Delidding, I am to afraid of!
40 seems like a lot, what are your ambients ?
The 8700k seems to run really hot in all cases.
Also, don't forget that if your PSU is set as exhaust it'll "steal" small amounts of air from your cooler.

For reference, My 7600k OC'd to to 5Ghz at 1.27v idles at 28C with a L9i, 27C with a TC12LS, 27C with a NH D15.
Ambient temps when measured fluctuated between 15/17.
Metis Classic, no top fan, case fan set as exhaust, PSU as intake.

Glad to hear it, faulty mount can cause really high temps. Your idle is high but your load temps are not bad at all. I haven't had an Asus board since my Z97 so can't say exactly where the manual voltage settings are.

I think Jayztwocents has a vid where he shows the z370 Strix bios, it goes something like Advanced>CPU>Set Multicore Enhancement to Disable and only then do the voltage tabs appear
