Nice system, looks great! smile.gif Amazing how much cleaner the same components look when put in this case vs a more traditional case with visible drive bays . Very difficult to make a build look bad in an S340. thumb.gif
Thanks! I literally spent zero additional time on cable management with this case. You just plug everything in and looks good no matter what. I spent hours screwing around with cable management in the 500R but no matter what its still not aesthetically comparable to the S340!

i need some recommendations on some slimline 15mm fans for the front, my ek rad and fans don't quite fit, well when i put the fans on the outside they do, but i don't want to cut the front panel to get more airflow. any recommendations?CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 75

the radiator is 45mm thick (i miss measured) and i wanna move the fans back inside the case and put the filter back on....

What's up guys. Been hiding in the shadows admiring all the sexy rigs on here, figured I'd share mine as well.

Currently running:
ASROCK z87 Pro4
I5 4670k
16GB Ripjaw X
EVGA 970 GTX SSC
Cheap Antec 500w PS

For cooling I am using the corsair H100I GTX on the processor. Havent seen the temps go above 50 celcius, but have noticed the GPU cooler spinning at 2700 rpm to maintain 70. My belief at this moment is that the radiator isnt allowing enough cool air to reach the GPU.

Use speedfan to ramp rad fans in relation to gpu temp.
I can adjust fan speeds using corsair link, but the whole reason for buying the AIO cooler was for reliable silent cooling, which the stock fans are definitely not.
Does speedfan have the ability to automatically adjust the H100 fan speeds based off of what temp the GPU is at?

Fans are fans, some are quiet some are obnoxious but they will all make noise when ramped up.

Short: yes.

Long: As long as you can plug the fans for the H100 into a PWM socket on your MOBO. SpeedFan lets you pick a temperture or several tempertures and plot a graph for fan speed to that temp. You can plot several graphs for one fan so that whatever temp is highest will raise that fan speed.

Example, even if my cpu is cool, if speedfan sees the gpu temp rising i have it set up to increase the radiator (intake) fans to provide more cool air for the gpus. I also have my exhaust fans on pwm and they correlate to intake speeds to maintain a slightly positive or neutral pressure case to avoid dust buildup.

My crossfire r9 380s are much happier now that the intake/cpu fans spool up when they need the additional cooling.

In the most respectful way, why are people on ocn afraid to remove the bracket?

15mm would be the pricey prolimatech usv 12, they are pwm and black.

no disrespect taken, i like the looks of the bracket, thats why i choose to keep it. i could remove it and there wouldn't be any problem at all smile.gif
