I browsed whole thread, of course you can install two standart 140mm fans with 120mm holes, but I cant figure out if there is enough space for those extra 5mm on each side.

There is enough space for those Noctua fans too fit. I have two 140mm fans up front and I see space on either side so you should be good to go!

Thank you! That's great, I really didn't want to buy three extra (crazy expensive) A14 fans. I'll post a report once the case arrives.

Any one have any suggestions for LED setups? I have the white case and my mobo has blue heatsinks. Right now Im think of doing a Red, White, And Blue color theme. Red case underglow. White in the case. Blue from behind the cable hiding bar and possibly coming up through the vents of the hard drive bay. It might take some trial and error to get the light balance right between the white and blue. Thoughts or suggestions?

As I said before; there is room for those fans to fit. However the holes may not line up properly.

The Noctua fans in question use 120mm mounting holes - which, in the front of the S340, are not lined up the same as the 140mm fan mount holes. By that I mean the center point of the 120mm mounting holes is closer together than the center point of the 140mm fan mount holes. They are slotted but I don't think the 120mm mounting holes allows for enough room for two 140mm fans to fit using the 120mm mounting holes. Am I making sense?

Take a look at this pic:

Where the red lines intersect represents where the center point of 120mm fans would be with them mounted as spread out as possible. Where the green lines intersect shows where the center point of 140mm fans would be, mounted in the only position they can fit if you had two of them. As you can see the center point using the 120mm mounts wouldn't get the Noctuas far enough apart to fit. This is why I said before, you'd probably have to elongate the 120mm fan mount slots or drill new holes further apart. wink.gif - Actually, scratch that. You can't elongate the 120mm fan mount slots or drill new holes because there isn't enough material there at the mounts in the middle (half way up) to do so.

See what I mean?

So to correct my answer; there is physically room to fit two of those Noctuas, but there is not a way to mount them because they use the 120mm fan mount locations, which are not spaced out enough in this case.

I'm using this. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811980001

It's an awesome kit for the money. Gives you a lot of options and has everything you need. I put one strip across the top and one down the front.

Nice looks great! Is that blue or RGB all at once?

For red I already have one of these: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812551002
For white and blue I have a roll of cut to length led strips. Unfortunately I have to wire it all up myself and there are no fancy controllers or features so I might go with a kit like the one you have.

Both pics are with white. 1st pic is with brightness turned down and 2nd pic is with brightness on max. I usually leave it turned down all the way and turn it off completely over night. On it's lowest brightness setting, the light appears slightly blue-ish, especially in photos, but in person it's still definitely white. The color choices on the remote are pretty decent. It gives you different shades of red, green, blue and purple/pink. I keep it white because that's kind of the theme of my system (black and white). It's nice to have all the options though. smile.gif

Oh shiiit now I got it. Well, at least now it's possible to figure it out. According to dimensions at noktua site, there must be 35mm between those 120mm holes to fit two A15, if I read it right:

frame_types_nf_a14_15.jpg

So basically in this case (ha) those vertical 120mm holes in the middle must be about 37mm long to fit two A15. Can somebody please measure them?

P.s. To make it clear, I already ordered the case, it arrives sometimes after 11 nov, I just want to know if I need to buy another fans until then.

So you simply want to know if you can fit a 150mm fan in this hole... Give me 10 minutes.
