just found these pics on google of a h105 with the sp120 fans same as mine and the guy got it to fit with some persuasion lol looks like there's also room for a lower 'pull' fan too judging by xposed mount hole on rad...mint job for tomorrow when i get home from work thumb.gif

The problem with this is that you are either doing one of two things.

Pulling in unfiltered cool air or recycling preheated air and pushing it out across the rear radiator.

Nice looking build though. I like that he gave the GPU the cool air and prioritized it over the CPU.

I should have noted, I am effectively doing the same thing by recycling preheated air and passing it over the GPU. I think on my next rebuild, I will put a 120 + rad on both the top and back mounting points. A 280 rad on the front, get rid of the Kraken and hard plumb the whole thing. Just need to do some thinking about what would happen to the temps BC you are effectively averaging the temps across both CPU and both GPUs. Though by using exit rads, the interior air temp should be lower and help keep the Mobo chipset cooler.

Oh I only used the pics to show u the clearance problems of using the 38mm h105 rad in the s340 case which nearly everyone across the net has said it 'can't be done' but yer with a bit of Persuasion it can be made to fit in your configuration which I'm gonna now try... Although Linus has a made a video specifically saying NOT to go push design due to more dust lol

If this doesn't work I'll go back to my original plan of leaving rad in pull config n modding the front panel to take 3x120mm fans in push for my 'summer mode' theory

Which to my understanding now... Being 5x front intake + 2 rear/Top exhaust... Would mean it's a very positive pressure system

5x can't be done.

It my configuration is..

Intake: 2x 140mm, 1 120mm
Exhaust: 1 140mm, 1 120mm

I wish there was enough clearance to do a 4x front, 2 pusher, 2 puller, but there is not enough clearance. Having said all of this, if you kept adding a few mm here a few there, you would have an H440. I for one much prefer the S34p. My only complaint about this case is that I wish they had a tempered glass option.

Linus Tech Tips is great. He knows his stuff.

BTW, wise man once said. "Of course you can make it fit. You just need a few simple hand tools and an oxy-acetylene torch!"

im gonna be seperating the front metal panel from the plastic frame and then cutting out holes for the 3x120mm fans which fit as i've tested already then i have very very strong magnets im gonna be sticking on the plastic frame so i can quickly pull off/put back on the metal panel onto frame when im not using the pc

only doing this cos i have 3xSP120 quiet edition fans spare lol...oh yer and mostly cos i get bored with anything i build pretty quick wether it be cars or pc's lol biggrin.gif

i prefer the s340 over anything else on the market, being my first build ever i was very hesistent on nearly everything i bought..countless youtube vids, reading reviews etc

but yer the s340 is highly ranked by nearly all the top tier youtube channels, so its def a good case, but doesnt mean i can't push the boundaries a little haha wink.gif
