Yeah that would be a good mod, and an intelligent one BC it keeps the airflow through the the filter and increases positive pressure. I see so many mods that have logic behind them I don't understand. That isn't to say they are good or bad. Depends on what you are willing to accept or try to accomplish. In the end, what matters is that you are happy with the outcome and that the result is good for you. The S340 was really the best option for what I was trying to accomplish and I have yet to find a better compromise. I really have no brand loyalty. Just the best for what I wanted to do.

Success!! also test fitted the corsair ram cooler before i paint it white thumb.gif

now just need to buy a bunch of Y 4pin connectors for the extra fans haha

also decided against the 3-fan front mod only cos the 3 matching fans i rather have inside the case cos they will be permanent so will be going 2 fan on front plate OR unless i somehow come across another sp120L fan...but as u can see there's plenty of room for 3 fans on front even 3x140mm if u want

Anyway for those of you who are interested in the newer version of this case (with better dust filter, filled gap in the pci expansion side, etc... ,), speaking with NZXT_Harry on reddit he told me the only way for now, to recognize it, is to look at the box, the newer one has an entirely black box for all the colours and S340 label is teal

so i guess not this

...not even this

so it's this
