Could use a smaller tip drill bit to fill in the larger spaces. That may help.

Thanks for the input. Seems to be fine right now as far as temps and airflow go. Relative to the rear exhaust it's as I would expect. Also since they are SP fans, I don't know if there would really be as much gained. The only noise I really hear anymore is my GPU when I play games.

So I'm still searching for a new case and came across the S340. It seems to be the perfect case for me aside from one thing: the hard drive cage. Can anybody here post some experiences they have with mechanical harddrives in that case? If they end up being too noisy I'll probably just get an Aerocool Aero 1000...

I have a 2.5" mechanical drive in one of the 2.5" spots and its fine.

Loving the fact you can take the panels off so easily versus being riveted together so when I'm painting its a lot easier.

Are you guys running 120 or 140mm fans? Eventually I'd like to watercool so trying to figure out clearance.

Anyone here who used to own an Antec 300 ?

In terms of metal sheet thickness, how is the build quality of NZXT S340 compared to Antec 300 ?

I bought my Antec 300 back in April 2009 and it has a solid build quality for its price.

I have already read reviews of NZXT S340 but I just want to get the thoughts of those who are already using it.

Thanks

As far as build quality, I would say the materials are similar with the S340 edging out the 300. Things like the plastic used are much better, but the metal is similar from what I can remember. The layout and design are far superior, though and the finishes are much nicer.

Bitfenux are nice but ensourced has the nicest all-around extensions and psu cables Ive seen. And Ive ordered extensions from almost everyone that manufactures or custom makes them. What extensions and colors do you need?
