have you actually measured the temps? or worrying too much haha? my idle is 24deg as we speak and on full load only hits 41deg this is at 1.40V but

until u come up with a more permanent solution you could also put an extra fan on inside of rad as a puller but also serves as a cooler for gpu, i have similar prob as urs due to my gtx's running modded bios's with higher voltage they idle at almost 60 and shoot up instanly in gaming but since i redid the fan scaling for the cards and also added the extra fan i can keep it from spiking over 70

thanks so much for the idea, will try that later when i got home, will put a 120 sp fan in the x61, but if my temps arent going down will try grizzly thermal paste on my gpu, or will mod my s340 case, cutting a hole on the top and put the 280 at the top,,

no probs thumb.gif at first it was done to help rad...this rookie didn't know these rads don't need any help so kinda fluked the gpu cooler alignment perfectly haha...currently idling at a crisp 43deg smile.gif

yer go for it haha i based it off noise vs rpm by turning the fans up manually till i found something i can deal with but yer u can fine tune to ur liking later but i reckon its a good start for u instead of forking out dollars thumb.gif
