Man it was hell on my on my finger and thumb but it was worth it. I guess I need to switch to a regular lighter as I use a butane lighter. It heats up the metal too much tongue.gif

Well as you can see how the connectors came out. Not 100% but it is what I wanted

Getting ready to start sleeving

I cut the paracord. The trick is as you are measuring the paracord against the cable, you want to pull the paracord tight. You want it below each clip but above where the wire ends. The paracord will come out shorter than initally measured but its what you want! Pull out the starnds of filler inside

I cut each section first. Makes for easier work

Paracord filler

I quickly singed the edge so they dont fray

This is offered by Mainframe. You put it over the clip so the paracord doesnt snag and get caught

This is after you pull the paracord tight and stiff. Start with one end and take a lighter to it. Maybe 5-7 seconds. Then quickly use your finger and thumb to smooth it out. CAREFUL its hot and sharp! It will quickly cool and set. Start pulling the paracord tightly down to the other end and do the same thing!

Start doing it with the other cables!!!

The top one is EPS and the bottom two are PCIe

cheers.gif

oops 1 pin broke. I need to replace the one cable. Le sigh. Fortunately it will be for a second video card

SIGH>>>>the sleeving came out ok, but the 24 pin cable combs broke. I am ordering more but I am getting different ones

Well this is what they look like inside the case. More updates coming tomorrow!!

Nice job color goes well with the case paint.

Previous S340 Build using my old parts , again for a sibling

I7 860 running @ 4.1Ghz 1.38V
6GB Corsair XMS 1333 @ 1600 CL9
256GB SSD Sandisk
EVGA GTX SC 660 @ 1250
Corsair H110 @72c Intel Burn Test/ 52c max load other/ 32C Idle
Enermax Platimax 500W Hybrid

recent upgrade nit shown;

4GB Gigabyte GTX 960 WINDFORCE 2X OC boosting at @1450

just wish the case was 30mm longer to allow for push/pull AIO setups , and a 140 rear exhaust
