My thinking is wire them into connectors where once they connect, the led's light up if powered on.

That would be cool.

Are you going to paint your PCI andpsu brackets?

You talking about the covers for non used pci slots and the bracket you attach to the psu?

Got my heatshrink today my initial plans wont work quite right but might compromise as the top of the fitting wont fit over the heat shrink without causing rippling.

It looks good but what is your idea next? As for the PCI brackets and PSU brackets, yes those.

I finally have my PC put together, now known as Gotham.

I am very unhappy with the cabling on the hidden side. I am going to go back to my original idea and rewire the PSU and sleeve the cables. It seems to be too much as I struggled to get that side panel on. I did get 4 HDD's on the bottom (3 in the slots, i next to them!) I will eventually upgrade them to 4-6tb drives (3 in all at 4 or 6tb each) The CPU is an FX 6300, I will upgrade that to an FX 9590. I still need to start the etching. I thought I had an etching bit so I have to wait. My temps are relatively cool having the PC running for near 24hrs. Highest temp at full load has been 46c. The 4 hdds are averaging around 30c.
I am going to have custom backplates done for my video card (I will get a second one after the new year.

Looks awesome, i was worried about the extensions in this case. Looks like ill be sleeving my psu also. What you going to do for the back plates?

The pci brackets ill paint the psu since its inr the back and im leaving the top and back black(I think) ill leave it. For the tube sleeving i may do like i did in the photo and just but it right up against the fitting so it actually not being held by it by any way. I dont think it looks to bad and the alternative is i ream out the fitting a little but not a fan of that.

Depending on the PSU, it should be easy enough to sleeve. If there are pin-out cables, then just rewire your modular cables, which can be done easily.

Well once you open and find out, take pics. I can be happy to help if you would like it. BTW, when you go to install Windows 10, the Windows 7 I have did work as activation, but only in the insider preview build 10565
