Dansdata had you beat in 2002:

They used Vegimite (before the renaming fiasco, no less) and toothpaste.

I don't agree with the conclusions of the Dansdata article (that all TIM is basically as good as anything else . . . having used CLU, I can tell you that it isn't). But I did learn that TIM is important in that it can continue to do its job over the course of years, whereas toothpaste and Vegimite can wear out very quickly.
