New to vmodding, care to introduce me to it? GT 610

Hello my friends!

I would like to get myself involved in the vmodding scene a bit by pushing this tiny little Gigabyte GT 610 to its limits. I have been reading alot on this forum lately and finally decided it's time to learn how to do the hardware side of overclocking, I have soldering skills and i can tell a capacitor from a resistor and whatnot... that good enough, right?

I have found the general vmodding guide on this forum but the gpu vmod guide has been removed?
So not sure where to start.

I will post my own pictures later as I would like to get some sleep... (jesus christ its 4:56am).
The graphics card is identical to the one mentioned in this thread:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1483788/gigabyte-gt-610-memory-mod-help

Otherwise it has a passive cooler and i have some Xbox 360 fans i want to attach to it.

New to forums overall, finally found one I am interested in posting on.

LL

Vcore is 20k trim pot to ground and mem is also 20k trim pot to ground. Though the mem mod actually had a negative impact for me. The hynix mem didn't like the extra volts.

Hynix will do pretty good with cold though.. thats where volts can help to keep them from cold buggin

Yes, but the issue was the cards just didn't scale with cold. No extra mhz on LN2 as the chip is just too small. Slush bucket was all that was really needed.

WELL

Boy did I fail to commit to documenting this! This was so long ago, I wonder if I can find this card. I actually managed to volt mod the card but but from what I can recall I hit the ceiling in mhz for the core. The memory voltage did barely anything to keep it stable on higher clocks so i got nowhere there. You will find some amusing pictures attached lol I took an hour trying to find these for a guy that messaged me.

Robbo helped a tonn!

Anyway in the end i could clock the card to the highest core mhz possible in MSI Afterburner with or without the vcore adjustment. I failed to find a way to adjust to higher mhz limit. I have tried unlocking msi afterburner. Is there anything else I couldve done?
