[WCCF] Assassin’s Creed: Golden Age Leaks Online in a Ubisoft Document

Assuming the first hypothesis and glancing at the picture in the document, we might have a chapter set and centered, during the golden age of piracy. It is quite doubtful that Victory is being renamed as “Golden Age” as that would make no sense, with it being set in Victorian London. The chance of Victory being replaced by Golden Age for this year’s release is also not too likely as it has already been confirmed by Ubisoft.

Hmm....Ubisoft confirmed that "golden age" was the working title of Black Flag. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/what-is-assassin-s-creed-golden-age/1100-6425289/

Quote:
[UPDATE] A Ubisoft spokesperson confirmed to GameSpot that "Golden Age" was the working title for 2013's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. It is not the name of a future game in the series.

“Before we officially announce a game to the world, we use a working title or code name to refer to a project internally," the representative said. "Assassin's Creed Golden Age was the internal name given to Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. It is not the name of any future Assassin’s Creed title."

So yeah...

I like the fact they value tools but if the games don't bloody work we can't reap their benefits.

I like the fact that they use a 4'x8' sheet of #28 printing stock to do on a table what everybody else has been doing with Microsoft Publisher and an Email for a very long time now.

Yep, my very first thought when I read this was "That was probably the code name for Black Flag, since it's setting was the golden age of piracy.

First assassin creed I won't buy from them, they killed the franchise afterbrotherhood by skipping the storyline that was so unique, vague and committing

AC is past its prime.

The combat system is pathetic - Unity was a hunk of garbage - replayability was next to nil.

Also, they should create modding tools and allow people to take the game further a la Skyrim and/or GTA IV on the PC.

Imagine AC Unity w/ ENB and tons of other mods? That would be fun.

I'm never buying AC until it's <$10 again. Thankfully I got Unity for free w/ my GPU purchase! biggrin.gif
