I thought there was enough haters and childish people in the internet, but now even a 21:9 resolution have to be hated by someone.

Kid, if you want attention, it's better to ask for it. No shame in doing that.

You gotta see the Steam forums. There is always an "Is there an Ultra Wide support for this game" thread on a game's forum and not 10 seconds later it gets hate from some people. Though there are pretty cool guys as well.

Interesting thing is that I only see 21:9 average interest going up and up. Acer and LG have dozens of 21:9 monitors out there, Asus is about to release a competitor to the Predator X34 and AU Optronics have announced a 3440x1440 144hz panel for next year. I'm pretty sure that if 21:9 was dead then nothing of this would be happening today.

Also, I'm afraid the internet will murder me if I build an AMD Rig with Razer Peripherals and a 21:9 screen. And a Xbox One.

Because you know, I can't spend my own hard earned money in whatever I want to, I must follow the rules of the internet and obey people to buy what they want, otherwise I'll be labeled as "fanboy", or "dumb", or anything else.

Congratulations, internet!

Totally agree. And the sad part is people who talk crap about a certain tech, are people who never ever tried it and have extremely minimal knowledge.

So anyway, I am loving my LG 1080p 21:9 monitor but I will certainly look for a 1440p upgrade when the Asus enters the Turkish Market. As far as I can tell we do not have any 1440p 21:9 monitor for sale here.

I had a 4k monitor few months back but had to sell it for awful desktop experience, however ever since going back to 1080p 24inch, I always felt dissapointed because of the less sharpness.

This LG model was a test purchse for me with a really nice price and I am loving it but I really feel like I need to move to a 1440p variant ASAP.

Problem is I already pre ordered an Oculus Rift and my summer upgrade money is already gone. Gonna have to wait a bit more.

I've owned it for one year now, and I still love this monitor.

Actually, my wife would like to have a word with you about that. She is a work from home medical coder. She worked in a hospital prior to that and has used multiple screen setups for years.

I ordered a UM95P by LG about 1.5 years ago, used it for a day, only to come home and find my wife had stolen it from my desk and replaced her two 27" monitors with it. She refused to give it back, and claimed that her productivity went up. I tried to convince her that she should get a 4K, but when I got one of those she disliked it.

I later purchased a 34UC97. Love it for gaming in games that support it, but sadly the resolution isn't supported by all games. Oh well.
