Ok then there is where it could be coming from in the difference in temps. I am not sure on the SLI block you using but if you can go into parallel config you will find the temps should be the same on both GPU's with a max 1 degree difference compared to what you have now. Also i think you will be better of in a parallel config there. There is more info on it on OCN. I know with serial you are transferring more heat from one GPU to the other i had the same problem once and went parallel and all was sorted temps dropped on both cards to 1 degree difference.

Ah, that would make sense. Thanks!

I went serial because I have the DDC-1T pump, wasn't sure it was strong enough to move water in a parallel configuration with two rads. On a separate note, man that pump is loud. I can't turn my fans down below 60% cause the pump drives me up the wall. It's ok cause even at 60% with the pump it's still WAY quieter than my last rig biggrin.gif

They good little pumps those and should be fine in parallel as well. I used to use them but ye they are a little noisier than the rest for some reason smile.gif

I'm wondering if mine is loud due to running dry for so long. Getting prime with the way that res is designed is HARD. I had my case rotated 120 degrees backwards before it freaking caught. And that was after a good 45 seconds to full minute of shaking, sloshing and everything else I could think of to get water into it. My arms were tired from holding the full weight of the computer and I was so paranoid I was going to slip and drop it, lol.

That could of been a pressure hold in the system. Ye a bleed screw can help that. You are right that could coarse the pump to run noisy later on. Just monitor your pump for a while and see how you go it could come to a stop one day. Lets hope not maybe the noise will go away and all is good.

well, went out of town for a couple of days and the wife accidentally turned the system on and never shut it down... so it ran for two days straight and didn't blow up, so at least the pump is working solid, just a bit noisy is all.

I'll prob look into swapping over to a parallel setup later on, for now, it's running, GPU's are OC'd and stable at a high of around 43 so I'm ok with the temp difference.
