frown.gif I ordered 1x 256. They should send me 2x 128gb's instead

The 128's became out of stock as well.

My 256 didn't ship out yet nor have I gotten a cancellation letter so there is still hope. Some of us were laughing at those who brought the 128 models claiming the 256 were a way better deal. Little did we know they had inside info on stock numbers. *shrugs* The 128's were a little to small for what I personally wanted to do with them.

Didn't know this. Hopefully those who ordered the 128 will still get theirs shipped.

Just food for thought: Maybe you should call Crucial to confirm that your order is going out.

I just spoke to their Customer Service an hour ago just to confirm that these SSD's are being shipped out of Idaho and touched on that recertified SSD sale and was told it was a frenzy there in so many words that they couldn't keep up with the amount of orders placed.

Mines went through. 2x 256 on the way. Sorry to those who didn't make it. I did think that deal was up way too long for them to have that much stock.

This is like 2 wins in one. One for seeing the deal the other for getting it shipped.

On a side note. Is it normal to have so many repaired ssds?

Awesome! Good job!  To answer that question coming from a manufacturer standpoint a portion of those reconditioned SSD's could be vendor returns that were not initially sold to consumers and returned to Crucial as an RTV (Return to vendor) who probably could not resell them as new units, so they may have to retest them to ensure they are properly working and used them as RMA Replacements as well as sell them as 'reconditioned' units.
