ROG Sica - Page 57

Hate to necro this thread. However, I just saw this....

What does this mean? It means the Sica and Gladius have "button response" sliders now. Maybe.

I can't try this on my Sica right now but anyone else wants to give it a shot download any one of the armory software versions from here to try it:

https://www.asus.com/us/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-Spatha/HelpDesk_Download/

I won't use it on my Gladius since +8ms is still a downgrade from the default firmware's +0ms added debouncing. But +8ms is better than the Sica's +16ms and the Gladius's +20ms debounce on fw1.29.

PS If anyone from Dexin/Asus sees this make the lowest option 1ms please. Thanks smile.gif

i doubt they fixed skipping on certain mousemats, it must be sensor problem, not sure if they can fix it with FW, sold it way long time ago, there are better mice

Did this have the DPI bug? I can't even remember. The Sica I have is totally trashed though. I desoldered the switch sockets, trimmed the pcb, made wayyyyyy too many shell modifications etc etc

I'm guess I have to order a glossy white one now.

Have installed all Zippy Switches into it.

Also love the shiny black coloured rubber cable, which is actually far better, compared to the previous silver model version of braided, black cable which was thick and nasty.

I don't remember the silver Sica having a braided cable confused.gif I do remember it being really stiff, though. Does the white one have a better cable? Also, is the scroll wheel on yours really stiff to rotate? I remember mine being difficult.

Edit: What are Zippy switches like?

No one with a gladius tried that yet? Quite curious myself.
I'll try it on mine eventually but it's not at my place right now.

same, don't remember braided cable, it was black heavy, awkward one, if this one is better now, i might be getting Sica again! That glossy top looks tempting, also i'd love to modify the sides, so whey wouldn't cut fingers

it was sensor skipping on hard mats! Cloth were fine as far as i tested it, i noticed it at very first tests when i got it:

I don't think the 3310 performs well on hard pads in general

http://watchmono.com/blog-entry-6443.html no crap, still looks same heavy ugly cable

My initial thoughts after first getting grey one:

-too heavy rubber cable, sensor skips on other than cloth pads, positions of grip on right side cuts fingers after longer playing

Well try fix that first, then sell, Asus
