Damn! This new Update 1.02 made it impossible to turn off FXAA with MGSV QAR Tool. The Extra Extra High settings config also does not work with this version. I prefer to see higher resolution textures, better lighting, shadows, PP, etc. with Extra Extra High Settings @ 1080p than to see default "High Settings" @ 4K. Damn it damn it, the game was JUST getting interesting for me and now I have to wait for a fix...

EDIT: I figured it out! The game no longer loads profiles of settings from data1.dat file, but from newly created 00.dat file!

On tougher stealth missions, I started just doing objective first and getting out of the hot zone with mission score, then running back and fultoning all soldiers I wanted so not penalized if seen by 1 reflex, etc. Though you did it the more efficient but harder way thumb.gif Some I am still tempted to do the same, hard to bypass some of those.

I'm starting to realize the best way is to get the objective first as well. Get the goodies after completing the mission. I still need to experiment with all the gadgets and controls. The better you know the tools at your disposal, the better (hopefully) you can deal with the situation.

I tried using the Nvidia control panel HBAO+ and turning off the ingame SSAO but my game randomly crashes. I went back to using in game SSAO and the crashing stopped. Very weird. For what it's worth I'm also using variable FPS and with everything on max on 1440p I'm averaging 80-90 FPS.

Are there any other tweaks for this game?

At that resolution on a single card, I average 35 to 40 fps. All settings @ Extra High (Motherbase, night time)

I stopped stressing about the mission score too much, but I find as long as you're fast and don't get too many alerts you get a good score. Buddies also make it waaaaaaaaay easier, almost too easy i think but I love using them.

Are there any other tweaks for this game?

nvidia has a guide about it,

http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/metal-gear-solid-v-the-phantom-pain-graphics-and-performance-guide

also you can get sweetfx! Sometimes these look great, sometimes not, phantom pain is pretty on point in terms of color and lighting.

https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/game/1094/

this guy made a tweak tool for extra high settings

http://www.nexusmods.com/phantompain/mods/1/?
