No. FOB attacks are carried out by other players only.

How do people snipe with controllers or fight off many soldiers? Once you shoot once, enemies will move around and aiming will become a major issue with controller, especially sniping!

Will there be a way to developer better silencers with high durability? What about sniper rifles with silencers?

Iz there a way to make first person camera aiming to be the default? I hate switching camera each time I aim.

OK, so if I play offline, do I still need to configure my defence settings? I assume not, since the base can't be attacked offline. Also I noticed the sneaking suite can be used by defence team. Do they wear it automatically or do I need to equip it for them?

Thank you.

I just picked up an xbone controller. Upgrading from the 360. Its the better controller. Easier and more comfortable to use (read: I can play MGSV a lot longer). Analog stick is improved. There is less of a dead zone in the middle and you have better control over the 360. You cant stop on a dime like the mouse when aiming, but the gap is closer. Sneaking and using the buttons is like butter compared to the 360. I'm going to do a few rounds of target practice at the base to see how it goes. Worthy upgrade. If you have a ps4, you could do 3rd party software to play it on PC, but i didnt want to deal with the hassle.

You won't be able to configure security settings unless you're online, however, getting your teams to rank up does unlock certain items for development. Also, completing objectives in missions, finding blueprints, etc can also unlock new items. For example, Quiet can wear a grey XOF outfit, you can get a stun outfit for DD, and yadda yadda.

Getting your Fulton to the Wormhole upgrade is totally worth it, no balloons to shoot down, however, you can't ride a cargo container up to the ACC with the Wormhole upgrade, but getting containers inside of caves/hangars is then possible.

Sounds like I should get one of them XBox One controllers. I only have XBox 360 one (Afterglow version). I do hate the sticks and that "dead zone" you mention. With such a zone you end up going between moving too slow and too fast. Its impossible for me to get it just right. If XBox One controller has that improved, then it surely makes sense to use it for aiming. For overall movement, sneaking, etc. 360 version does just fine. What I do dislike about controllers is that unlike today's modern gaming mice, they do not come with 1000Hz poll rate! This 1000Hz poll rate is very important in improving responsiveness, especially when you play on TV's, which usually have high input lag already. If only there was a hack or or something to improve controller poll rate...

I was also curious about Steam controller and whether it is better than XBox One controller. Does Steam controller come with 1000Hz poll rate?

There is nothing about the poll rate on the steam page, and the thing isnt even out yet. I think the best way would be to try it out first hand playing a first-person shooter. Vids can only convey so much. Again though, the xbone controller is indeed an upgrade over its predecessor, but its still not as precise as a mouse.

Ok, quick questions. I'm playing with mouse (well, trackball) and keyboard now. I just don't know how to do a few things as the prompt still refers to the controller's keys. How do I select sides when I horse stealth? I press C while riding a horse to stealth, but it seems like which side he hangs is random? Another thing is how do I do a CQC throw? It tells me to use the left stick, obviously that's no help. Also some prompts tell me to press the right stick, I tried pressing middle click but it doesn't seem to be the right key. Thanks.

Edit: One more question, while prone, how do I roll? I tried space+wasd but it didn't' work.

You have to be aiming in order to roll.
