Ahh ha ha ha.... yeah... THAT tube. Long story made short... this was my absolute first foray into hardline rigid tubing and using the deluxe Monsoon hardline kit and I messed the original designed tube up a little bit. By this time I was running low on extra Primochill PETF tubing and didn't wanna mess up again or I'd be out of luck. So I made that tube. It will be replaced with something more bendy and angular with better routing ASAP. Thank you for the suggestion!

This system isn't done yet even by a long shot; I still have to watercool the video cards (I've since ordered a 2nd Nvidia GTX Titan X and plan on adding a second loop for the cards with the new Heatkiller full coverage blocks (they are so sexy). I will post more pictures of the continuation as soon as I get more work done on the machine.

EDIT:

On yeah and I need to change that horrible LED lighting I currently have in there. Its not "bad", per say, but the placement it horrible. Its an old NZXT LED light-wire so its VERY easy to route but not as bright or uniform like the newer LED type light strips like the Bitfenix Alchemy (unfortunately I can't use the magnet type ones because my CaseLabs TH10 is aluminum).

Maybe also plan on adding some LED underlighting, LED case fans, ect.

I know I'm going to need at LEAST another 480 rad for the two Titan X's, maybe a 560.

Hmm... I dunno what else I can do at this point. Maybe change out the Mayhems Pastel Red for a different color?

ANY and ALL suggestions will be VERY welcome!!

You mean the Heatkiller XL blocks for the 980 ti?

Those do look great, I did a double take when I first saw it, because it's such a departure from the Heatkiller aesthetic. If I had a 980 ti that would be a tough pick for me. I've always preferred the exposed pcb look though, and I *LOVE* the skinniness of the usual Heatkiller design

I figured that you must have a good reason for that tube run that way as everything else looks great, I was in the same position one time I was out of tubes but I decided to wait for mine to arrive, it was long wait biggrin.gif

Hey before I learned how to bed acrylic and I'm only using Monsoon Black 16mm OD, I have wasted ton of them and I mean lots, it gets easier after that and you have much better control over the whole concept.

Speaking of Blocks for 980Ti and Titans, Heatkiller have fantastic blocks. Not that there is anything wrong with EK or Alfacomputer or other brands but Heatkiller blocks feel so solid. Currently I have 3 of this on my Titans Black In my build I love them totally and I just got 3 Titan X for my next build and I want to get this blocks

I like full blocks but for some reason I prefer the aesthetics of this babes.

Yeah!

But to each his own. I hear the perform pretty much alike. Different strokes for different folks and all that I guess. Doesn't matter what you choose. If YOU are happy with the way YOUR build looks. It doesn't matter what ANYONE ELSE says. EVER. thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif

I think the discussion about shining etc refers to copper blocks. I don't think you have to do anything special with nickel, in fact the great advantage of nickel is that it won't turn black like copper. Watercool imho has the best nickel plating in the industry.

Exactly. The functional purpose of nickelplating is just that: to prevent the copper from tarnishing. The nice looks are a mere sideeffect.

The Performance of all HEATKILLER IV Pro Models with metal tops are the same. They all have tops made from copper which is just differently finished (plated). The HEATKILLER IV Pro with the acrylic top could perform slightly less, since the acrylic top can obviously not transfer any heat. But that is really by a very small margin.

I was just about to order 4 of them but unfortunately the don't fit to non-reference cards. Maybe next time... So I bought EK...
