Wow. This is a developer's wet dream. The sound assets are some of the best I've seen, the boss model has amazing fidelity, the particle effects were perfectly optimized, and the overall dark aesthetic for the level, while recurring, was very well done. Props to this team, let's hope the script and story doesn't let it down.
On a side note, aliasing is horrendous in The Last of Us and GTA5 on PS4. I suspect it will be the same in Bloodborne. It looks like they are hardly running any AA.
Funny to see the PC hippies buying a "console" just to play 1 game. I mean common. The almighty PC suppose be the best and most supported platform around over consoles. Consoles>PC support wise from developers. If this ends up being a gem. PC will never EVER see it.

If you have money it doesnt mean that you should spend it recklessly, buying a console only for one game is ridiculous and a waste of money but that is how I see it.
To be fair buying a console of choice is a perfect combo for any PC gamer. There are games out there that you will not regret playing them. Hook it up to your TV, sit on your sofa and play the game. You will get used to lack of AA or lower frame rate if the game is solid.
Have fun with both your PCs and PS4. I believe sometimes getting a console instead of getting a 2nd or 3rd high end GPU for your PC is a much better way. You dive into a different set of games.
Surely there is or will be other exclusives that will justify the purchase of your console of choice.

PC hippies? Usually when some describes a hippie they mean lazy. That sounds a lot more like console gamers, who don't want to learn to put a PC together or spend slightly more money to get a better experience
.
Insulting PC gamers for trying to get the most out of gaming, on a forum mostly aimed at PC gamers, isn't a polite thing to do.

Why? That is your opinion. I know plenty of people who have PCs for one game. Be that World of Warcraft, Dota, League of Legends, etc. What would be the difference of having a console for one game?

Eh. I just find both sides so funny. Especially on a PC forum. I am not biased on either and play both PC/Consoles. The real losers are the ones thinking one platform is more elite then another. They miss out on some incredible games because they have their nose up in the air. Gaming. Its about the GAMES. Not so any more though as many will defend 1 platform or another with their lives. I think part of the issue is it comes down to money.
Many cannot afford all 3 consoles and have a good PC gaming system as well.
The artistic style is incredible as always along with the gameplay, but sadly held back by consoles. I dont get it, if you had a dream/game/art you wanted to do your best on wouldnt you design it to the best of your abilities making it look the best you could. I.e on pc, with no holding back and cutting down.
Why all the toxicity to those buying a PS4 for a single game?
Has it got to the point now that people cannot buy hardware because they want to actually enjoy the reason it is being made - to play games.
Sure PC is superior to every other platform but if a game that somebody wants to play is on a console then why should somebody stop themselves enjoying their time and their money.
I don't like consoles at all but I'm going to buy one for bloodborne because I have accumulated almost 200 hours in DS2 and just a bit less in DS1 so assuming a PS4 costs ~£400 and assuming I get 200 hours playtime out of bloodborne then for the sake of £2 an hour I'll do it. And if it comes out on PC well that's great I'll enjoy it on PC when it arrives.
