Hi
I'm new to the forums but I had to reach out and ask for help and suggestions, I am doing a new build which contains the following:

- Thermaltake V51 Case
- Asus P5Q Deluxe Mobo
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650
- G.Skill DDR2 4GB x2
- Geforce Palit GTX 760 Jetstream 4gb
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 (2x CM Xtraflo 120
- SSD (Corsair 256gb force series) x1
- WD Blue 1 TB HDD x1
- DVDRW Burner x1

Not sure how to have the fans setup eg. Intake or exhaust.

I prefer positive pressure for many reasons but not how many fans of each, the fans I was considering for chassis fans were CM Xtraflo 120 but they seem a it loud at max rpm so I have been considering the corsair AF and SP series of fans.

Attached is the different size fans that can be run with my case, most likely I will be using my BitFenix recon fan controller as well.

As far as specific brands and makes of fans, i dont know that i can help you there as i dont have much knowledge as to which ones are higher quality. However with the layout, if i may throw my 2 cents in, and please anyone correct me where im wrong, i would use 2X 140mm in front for intake, can also put a fan in the floor if case is elevated, and use a 140 for rear exhaust and use atleast 1X 200mm in the top for exhaust as well. To maintain positive pressure, assuming all fans are running a relative-to-eachother %, i know you will need atleast 1 fan in the bottom with this layout but likely wouldnt need to run it above ~60% depending on the fans you choose. Sorry if you were looking for brand/model specific info, im not that well informed on such things but hopefully i can provide some food for thought. Also, enjoy that chip, with an overclock to 3.6 i noticed most games ran fine. I ran mine @ 4.15 Ghz @ 1.38 vCore (bios, in OS was 1.36) and never had a problem with temps on a hyper 212.
