if there is anyone with Gigabyte G1 GTX970 (with samsung memory if it matters) and stock F80 BIOS, could you please send it to me (or atleast explain how to switch between 2 BIOS versions on this GPU)?
I lost my backup and now cannot send the card to the shop until I have stock bios - I only have stock ROM I exported using gigabyte @BIOS utility, but this utility does NOT allow flashing BIOS with matching versions..

Thank you

Nice, already installed the beta drivers
In my case they won't give me any perf. increase on Heaven @1440p over the older 355.98 thinking.gif

980 G1 1531/3505MHz Heaven:

355.98

358.70

However there's still a nice gain in Fire Strike Extreme, bumped from a 7171 graphics (6710 score) to a 7230 (6746 score)
I think I'll just leave them be for a while, let's see how they perform on a couple of games I'm playing right now (DAI and Project cars)

@Fanu
In order to properly switch between the two bioses you must use the dvi ports as all of the other ports will use the first bios on a single monitor (or at least they worked this way with my 980 WF3):

So, use the DVI-D port in order to boot with the second (D_D Bios)

I was able to extract the second BIOS and flash it instead of the original I modified
I will be returning the card to the shop to see if there is anything wrong with it

Just use the nvflash utility in command line it will be able to flash it.

Disable the graphic card in device manager. Then open a command prompt with administrative rights (might not be necessary, but it's how I do it ).

Go to where nvflash is located and type nvflash -6 to flash it.

Here's the thread with nvflash : http://www.overclock.net/t/1521334/official-nvflash-with-certificate-checks-bypassed-for-gtx-950-960-970-980-980ti-titan-x

I just extract it anywhere, doesn't have to be C: root. drag and drop your bios on the exe, it will disable the adaptor for you. hit Y to flash and reboot when it's done. That's it.

Hey,

Firstly I'd like to say I've recently bought a Gigabyte GTX980ti and since been reading ALOT of this thread. I'd like to say thanks to Laithan for all the effort he has put into this custom bios. I have flashed to V4BETAF4 and managed to overclock to 1507mhz on the core so far, but my only concern is about the increased wattage on the Power Table.

At the moment I have changed the power table back to stock settings, but kept everything else the same as V4BETAF4 bios. I am not experiencing any throttling this way while playing Witcher 3, but I'm concerned as well that it might be more beneficial still to run at the higher 450w power table (as set out in V4BETAF4 bios), but at the same time worried I might damage my card at the same time... I guess you could say I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on the matter...

With using this bios (V4BETAF4), is there any chance it will degrade the card quicker over time with the increase to 450w on the Max Power/TDP as well as the extra wattage on the PCIe rails? My power supply can more than handle it, I'm just worried my card might degrade a lot earlier than expected? Or should I just keep the power table at stock since I'm not experiencing any throttling, or unstable over clocks while gaming? If the answer is the former, can you please explain a little to me why the extra wattage is needed, as I seem to not be experiencing any throttling when the bios power table is still set at stock and power slider set at 139%.
