As a whole not just custom cards really... i just expected better from nvidia now with them being on 16nm ...but it mainly shows how efficient Maxwell was in the 1st place and with that being on 28nm which i found surprising.

I expected better that's all on 16nm yes i understand its faster than a titan ect ect but still we are talking about 28 to 16 nm and that's a big jump...

maybe i am expecting too much of the expecting smile.gif who knows ...

We've only scratched the surface.. we'll soon learn which ones are all bark and no bite once we can MOD the BIOS.

hi Guys, i have my 2x980ti G1 with mumod h2o bios but now i want to go back to the original bios before selling this beauties.
I saved my original f10 DP but everytime a want to flash i receive certification error.
Why? How can i flash my old original bios?
I recently put my 980Ti G1 under water so I reflashed from the air to the h20 BIOS. I haven't found my max stable clocks so in the mean time I just set the Core Voltage and the Power Limit % to max to play games.
However I keep freezing in DOOM frown.gif and I can't get out of the game so I have to do a hard reset. This game has ran fine for me in the past and the only difference is now my temps are way lower obviously. I figured just maxing out the voltage and power limit sliders and not putting a overclock on the Core and Memory I would be stable.
So far I have just been testing out DOOM, I will try out other games/benchmarks in the mean time to see if it is just DOOM or not. But without a overclock on the core and memory, and being under water I should be stable no?

Here' a list from a great review:

Buy-Recommendations for Air-Cooling:

Highest performance:

  • Phobya LM (LiquidMetal)

  • Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut

High performance with good price/gramm:

  • Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut

  • Be Quiet DC1

  • Prolimatech PK-2

  • Noctua NT-H1

  • Alphacool XPX-1

  • Zalman ZM-STG2

Best for testing / a lot of applications:

  • Arctic MX-4 (good performance)

  • Amasan T12 (average performance)

Best Price-Performance-Ratio:

  • Cooler Master IC Essential E1

I like the Gelid Solutions GC-Extreme, especially with its little spreader wand.  Arctic MX-4 works well for general use, but I'll never pay for AS5 again!

I've been using Arctic Silver 5 for a long time, and experimented with a few other brands, it seemed to be good, nothing noticeable in temps other than 1-3C which I would say is just room temp changes

The OP should have F4 and F10 both already modded all done smile.gif, let me know if you don't see what is needed.

Cheers, yes I copied those values into an "unlocked" F4 BIOS that you modded for me a while ago (when the latest update from GIGABYTE came out).
I should be good to go biggrin.gif
I ended up flashing the AIR BIOS for the sake of my card's health biggrin.gif
