Its not that i dont like it sir..i just tried it so that i know what my card can do with max oc and with bios moded. But i still more comfortable with just the stock bios. And im fine with the default boost clock up to 1374. But im really confuse coz i flashed my back up origonal bios and yet it didnt return to its default boost clock? What did i do wrong sir? Pls help.

I'd like to thank you guys for this AMAZING bios mod!!! thumbsupsmiley.png: drunken.gif

I am sending my score after few hours of overclocking and testing. Everything seems to be fine (0 freezes, 0 artifacts etc.), but i will test this setting more (more games and more hours). My cpu is not very modern so my scores maybe are not highest but i am very, very happy. thumb.gif

My earlier oc with stock bios was not even similar to this... i've got something like 1480 gpu, and 1900 vram. Belive me or not, that was my max stable setting.

Until now...

BTW my GTX970 G1 is not very good sample at temperatures. Earlier i had similar temps. I don't know why, but i am used to it. My comp case has good ventilation and i even bought fan 80x80 and put it at backplate of my card, according to tips in this thread...
BUT nothing bad happened since almost 2 years, so i don't bother about it. My goal is to keep temps under 80 Celsius and i manage to make it. smile.gif

Once again: THANK YOU for NUMOD!! yessir.gif

edit:
one more thing. this is my custom made fan curve:

Something make you nervous? You can feel safe with the MOD.. tested and proven for months. wink.gif

It's a software glitch. This can occur when you attempt to load O/C profiles that were created with a different BIOS. The instructions for this are in the OP but sometimes missed. To fix this you just need to uninstall all O/C software (remove settings, do not keep if asked) and then manually remove any trace of the app reboot and very with GPU-z that your clocks read properly. Once done you can reinstall your O/C app again (it's not a problem with the O/C application so no need to change it). thumb.gif

hi sir thank you so much for the moded bios, i really like it but i really just tried it for my experiment smile.gif haha but i just wanna go back to my sotck bios, because at 1500 core clock my temps are really hot, like 82c and my fan is loud and it is already set to 85 percent on after burner, i tried to oc with stock voltage and it still gets warm, but before i flash my stock bios i can get 1400 core clock with stock voltage and much better temps, i dont know why is like that,

i already tried it sir, remove msi after burner, riva tuner, gpu z, hwinfo, reflash to stock bios, and reinstall nvidia drivers using ddu, reinstalled nvidia driver and gpuz but still i cant get my boost clock to 1374 it is stuck at 1290 frown.gif

No, i never look at it. I can do this without a problem, but i decided to not take apart this amazing card. hypocritesmiley.png

Like i said, i'm used to this temps. Stock coolers from nvidia have 80 Celsius and more, soooo ~73C is much more colder anyway. biggrin.gif Should be colder with this amazing cooling system ofc, but i think that nothing bad will happen to this card, even with those temps.

I transfered the settings to my own BIOS since I am using F60 and downloaded the appropriate version but everytime I flash I get a huge screen with a low resolution and the dev manager tells me that the gpu has stopped working. frown.gif

I flashed back of course, (had to use NVFlash v5.206.0.1 All Checks bypassed as the "normal" one wouldnt let me flash it)

Anny suggestions? Maybe I need to recheck my values, but I am sure I copied everything :/

Thanks guys in advance for the help smile.gif

You've got your sliders maxxed with the stock BIOS also right?

Keep looking. You'll have to keep removing ANY software that monitors/communicates/adjusts the GPU. Even GeForce experience. It's not BIOS or drivers causing the issue it's software.

Sliders maxxed? If not, expected.

Also PSU must be powerful enough and have direct PCI-e 8-pin connectors no doubling up or using adapters.

GPU-z log would be needed for further review.

Yes please thumb.gif

I would also like the DD version if you could get it to activate (depends on your monitor config(s)).

Thank you smile.gif
