As it looks like to me that the mem compression got messed up...

But i have allso seen a fair few cards with a similar like pattern but that where permanently on due to memory damage ...(not trying to scare u but its more likely be just the OC)

Just tone back the mem 5 to 10

What memory manufacture is it ?
Hynix, like i said it appear after few hours of playng Witcher 3 my overclock is 1455mhz core and 1953mhz memory on 1.24v

Could be temps too ? what are they .....after a long session have you got ghetto cooling on the back plate ect

I would step the mem back a little 5 or 10 play again same game W 3 as its a very demanding game ....

I have had a fair few cards over years with system builds and my own cards and the memory on some where not upto the job its just pot luck really.....

Samsungs in general have all ways given me good results with elpida giving me the worse but having said that i have had 1 samsung mem not do as well as elpida so again just luck of the draw no power draw pun intended smile.gif

Sometimes lowering the core may help too to increase the memory so to balance things out re delivery

My temps do not pass 73 degree at any point, usually staying at 72. I wonder if my psu is not good enough, i know that 700 is at least to have with 980 ti overclocked, and mine is 700W aurum 80 gold, but i will change it anyway soon to evga supernova 1000 W P2 80 + platium, cus i really want that, hope it will do better.

is it this

http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/4137/fsp_aurum_gold_au_700_power_supply_review/index5.html

That should be fine

Heat sounds ok

It could be the card mem chips really ....

How often as this happened or was this the 1st time you saw the corruption

If happen for the first time , if i boost memory to over 500-600 in MSI AB then it crash with orange artifacts i think it wa only crashed 1-2 times for now, i haven't boosted so high after, cus no point, so i lowered it to 400 to be stable and its not crashing.

Just drop the mem a little and it should be fine just play and see

as for the psu that is fine
i would not waste money on what is not needed spend on sumit you really need

what card is it by the way

For anybody interested non pascal owners

re fast sync

Tom nvidia did mention it would be available for other gens too but where is it ??????
..but it seems nvidia are going to lock it to pascal within the driver and call it a pascal feature ....(Nvidia milking process # 3196)

However and i am about to try this u can run nvidia inspector with the latest nvidia drive select this

And will give you fast sync within NCP should come up as custom under vertical sync

so fast sync for other gens ...

Goto time 2.40

Worth a go at least

Look under "How to flash a modified BIOS", use the NVFLASH located there thumb.gif

Sadly, this does not work for me.. however I only tried in SLI.. Let me try without SLI

EDIT: Disabled SLI, same thing. I was using Diablo III as a test. It was a trainwreck with this setting enabled.

Hello! Your English is good, no problems understanding. You just need to extract your BIOS and read it to determine which version it is. There are instructions in the first post of this thread under how to flash a modified BIOS. Let me know if you have any other questions biggrin.gif
