That's a known issue in FFXIV it shows that for me also.

It's true though, all 970 owners do not have 4GB (equal) of VRAM. What they have is 3.5GB + .5GB... the memory partitions do not run at the same speeds.

Not clear why other cards (other than 970's) are being mentioned in the C.A. lawsuit... this is very muddy...

Any chance of a custom bios for it later on Laithan?

(1) Yup. You can view it and compare it to your BIOS to see that they match wink.gif Yes, dl and flash check the OP for detailed info/instructions if you need them (I have some steps/recommendations to take before flashing). Look under how to flash a modified BIOS in the OP.

.

Hi Laithan,

I was comparing the two and the original BIOS that came in my card - in the Boost Table & Boost States - goes all the way up to 1607.5 MHz for clock 74 as opposed to 1455 MHz on the MUMOD. You said to ask questions tongue.gif, so I'm asking . What do you make of that? It's uploaded in my original post/question. Could you look at it real quick?

Much appreciated. +biggrin.gif

Hello Y'all,

Maybe it has been discussed but I haven't found it,

What is the BEST NVidia driver for the 980ti Xtreme Gaming?? Do you guys keep your drivers updated to the latest, or have you found a driver that works better than the others for OCing the card (power/voltage) wise?

I , for example, am running the latest WHQL 368.81 (Win 10) and I have no clear idea if I should choose Adaptive or Optimal Power in NV Control Panel.

Also, for performance , DSR Factors (like 2X) - does it affect FPS for say less demanding games? How about AAA Games (Witcher 3, GTA V etc). Do you guys even use that?

Thanks smile.gif

Use latest driver and there is no point making changes, best keep to nvidia defaults

SOOO,

Since I have an itch I have to scratch tongue.gif , here goes nothing:

LN2 STOCK BIOS (attached extracted) on 980ti Xtreme Gaming

+250 Core
+800 Mem
+0.081 V offset min
Power/Temp Target 101/91C

Stable @ 1515MHz & 75C on Air (fans on AUTO)

It does however (at that voltage offset) get Perfcap Vrel and Vop. Probably should up the V...
